You can verify it instantly if you have access to your online bank. You don't need for them to make 2 small deposits.
You can just sell your btc for other currencies, then exchange it for paypal. It's easy to exchange non reversible payments to paypal, but not the other way around.
I could buy the whole btc off you with PayPal if your interested. I have an old verified paypal account linked to my real identity
