I've always liked Byteball, and made a Blackbytes FAQ years ago. It's unfortunate such a technologically advanced coin never gained the traction it deserves.
Bittrex is the easy way to go indeed, but since they have my KYC, I don't want to trade "other" funds anymore.

According to Obyte.org, you can trade bytes with a bot inside the Obyte wallet. Blackbytes can be traded through a bot too. It's been a few years since I played with it.
Just in case: if you don't sell your Blackbytes now, you should keep a few (thousands of) bytes to pay transaction fees on your Blackbytes later on.

Thanks for the heads up about Blackbytes. It seems that there is no buy order depth for Bytes, and I have no idea if there is enough volume for a sell order to be actually filled. It does seem like the bot for Blackbytes <-> Bytes does have a decent amount of liquidity, but I'm currently getting a weird error message. I'll see if it fixes itself later. I would use Bittrex, but I don't want to KYC either.

I can exchange for you or share my personal bittrex account to you to make the exchange.

Would you be willing to do a deal where you send the expected proceeds to me first (minus an agreed upon fee), and then I send the GBYTE to you? Unfortunately you don't have much reputation so I wouldn't be willing to go first, and I don't really want to access other people's Bittrex accounts.

I rarely keep any of my money in crypto, so I can't help with that. I hope you will find what you need, I don't have a problem you using my bittrex. Last time I used it was in 2016 so it is ok for me; a tip at the end would be appreciated but not mandatory.

Fair enough, thanks for offering to help! I'll see if I can find someone else or maybe I'll just end up giving the bot a shot and hoping someone takes my order.

That probably means your Bittrex account can't withdraw without going through KYC.

I have 5.158 GBYTE (Obyte) that I'd like to exchange for BTC, worth roughly $180 USD from current exchange rates. Based off of what's displayed on CoinMarketCap, it's not tradable on any major exchanges I'm familiar with so I can't exchange it myself.

I also have 25.6 GBB (BlackBytes) which my wallet says is worth $60. I have no idea if there's somewhere I can sell this, but it's also something I'd like to exchange for BTC.

Let me know if you're willing to help! I'll happily pay a share of the proceeds for your time  Smiley
