Using escrow is a very wise decision, this will prevent you from being scammed.
I've tried selling my Amazon GC for 80% around here and it's truly hard finding a buyer for it unless he's a scammer, I haven't been contacted once by a trusted user to purchase it.
Best of luck, I'd always use escrow around here unless you find someone EXTREMELY trusted you can go first to.
