All these stories behind are very interesting Smiley oh, yeah, if she is pissed that much, probably 10k wont help.
You honesty will help you on sales.
We never traded before, but i know you are legit. I just wanted to know how rare they are and how many people managed to get her signature. Heard your story now, thinking different! Good luck on a sale. There is going to be a buyer for sure, just a question how fast he will show up Wink
\/

Thanks for the kind words. I really hope so to get my expenses back and to get some gains for my tuition fees for the art academy I want to absolve.
But I am confident about that - just need the COAs soon. And time will tell.

The following invitation was part of the deal by the way and will be added to the double signed version:

Totally forgot about that...

I actually edited my reply afterwards, because I thought this is not appropriate to say and I also hoped you don't read it. By no means this was an offense. I just was too pissed in general because of of kermi85s behaviour. I have a high sense for integrity and never ever before someone accused me to be a scammer... it seems I got a bit paranoid  Cheesy

Well in terms of the price, I think a price range between 2 and 2.5 BTC for the double signed set is totally fair.

Fact is, that the artist totally refuses to do any signings. Not even for money. Believe me - I tried it badly, because I wanted to get all of the frames signed by her.
She got tons of mails and even calls in the middle of the night. She was more than pissed and what I heard she almost had a mental breakdown. It went that far,
that she deleted her phone number in the net... So my answer is: Yes, she would resist. She is done with the crypto stamp at all.

So the only way I could get the signature was through a collectors friend who was at the first-day-event and I had to pay quite a high price for the yellow folder.

I also had to buy some extra sets for the frames. This was before the prices decreased.

Another fact is, that the crypto stamp will be an ongoing project and after some years these sets will raise in value.

Thanks for your appreciation in terms of the design of the frames  Smiley

"Collectors were able to get their covers stamped for a limited time"
From my eyes everything that was stamped after 11.06.2019 isnt FDC.
First day is first day.
Anyway you are hard core stamp collector and i wish you the best with your sale!

Almost every FDC you will find on the internet is NOT stamped on the first day. This is not what it is about... It is about the First Day Stamp Seal,
which is tough to get and which is limited for some time. It is like a seal, a limited postmark.

After this time all the rubber stamps get collected and stored away. We could say they "retire"  Grin That's how it works.

Fact is, they are much more limited than normal stamps and there are different variants.
Some made for the subscribed collectors, some made by the collectors and officially stamped.
Some are made for normal customers.

...

Indeed, I do not mean to be malicious when I say that I wouldn't wonder if you made the new account with the name "kermi85". You seemed to be really
interested and you were a bit pissed, when you saw, you cannot afford them. But please, I don't want to accuse you here and apologize if I am wrong...

Anyways, in the end I am happy that this all happened, because so I learned something and I also will get the needed COA.
Throw out such a minds from your head. I would never do so. And if i would want to say something, i would say. Why should i create new account for that?
i am not a stamp collector nor  did i knew that first day stamps can be stamped some days after that. My lack of knowledge doesnt mean that your stamps are bad. They are wonderfull, i would be pleased to have such a sets, believe me.
Different people, values different things. For me 4 digit set is much grater than signed set. But it depend on where do you see that value. official releases too, better for me, for you maybe different.
And yes i was interested, before i heard a price Smiley to be honest for 2.7 btc i would drive to Austria, find that designer, buy she a trip to Thailand and 5k eur for expenses and then kindly ask she for signatures. Do you think she would resist to sign a set, that she created, for a 10k euros?
And once again. Sets are amazing  they are genuine, signatures are real. But i dont see anything so special about signatures. Maybe 10 - 20% premium, but not that much buddy.
Peace

Edit. I didnt knew post offices can use stamp with a date 11.06.2019 on some later days. I was thinking that rubbers stamps are destroyed the day after.

Until reply from Post Office and clear answers i retract my opinion...

I already told you, that not everybody knows these variants there - so they are not able to confirm it and an answer has no value.

I contacted the worker who made the stamps and she will figure something out. I definitely will provide the proofs.

And again, do better research. The laser engraved stamps were made in a limited batch and just for subscribed collectors. Some shops also sold them until they ran out. Afterwards the Austrian post sold the hand-stamped version and collectors were able to get their covers stamped for a limited time. This isn't possible anymore and were a nice feature and service of the Austrian Post.

However, COA will be provided and hopefully you will be more polite here in the future; especially if you want to stay on the board... Somehow it is suspicious when a Newbie arrives and the first thing he does is what you did...

FDC are always stamped with Laser and so is the Stamp on it.

There is no FDC with a manual stamp!!!!

The Laser Stamp on FDC and on stamp is the safety feature for it!

Again you are wrong - this image from the First-Day-Event proofs that there are manual stamps.

Even though "trust but verify" is  very important in dealing with any collectible, I can vouch IH is a legit guy! Ibought a holoset from him and the transaction was direct without any hitches.
coming to kermi's point, not all the collectibles sold on this forum come with COA , not all the casascius come with COA/digital sig from mike.
Raising a concern is different from accusing people!

Edit: the image is from Linkedin here and not manipulated (as somebody meant) - source link: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stefannemethmba/detail/recent-activity/

@gwu you are right and I was bit naive... I should have made photos and a selfie, but to be honest I didn't think about this; especially because I had no bad intentions. It shouldn't be a problem to get the proof, but this means I will have to drive to Vienna. Unfortunately I have no car, so this will be 5 hour drive by train. I am not sure when I find the time to get there and I also will have to get another appointment. I have no doubt that I get the needed proofs and all in all this will underline the value of the stamps. I am not in a rush with that, but hope that I can do this as soon as possible.

However, thanks a lot for your kind words and I totally agree with you, when you write: "Raising a concern is different from accusing people!" - the way kermi85 wrote was somehow abusive or offending and he could have just asked, if he can get a COA for them instead of spreading info, which are wrong and accusing me for being a scammer.

Lesson learned.

i forwarded this to austrian post "philatelie service" they will manage this...

if they confirm this i accept this and believe you and will post the official confirmation here to underscore this

to many scammers in crypto, especially if its easy to copy things

Lol of course they cannot tell you about the frames and confirm this. They were never officially sold to customers. Something I never said or claimed. But I got them handstamped there after my meeting. I will try to get the proof from the worker there. Didnt expect that someone would offend me here and force me to proof that the stamps are real
...

I also could provide so much Info about the upcoming stamp, but I am a loyal person and not allowed to. So I handle this discrete.

For me this is totaly SCAAAAAM, proof your FDC letters and the rest!!!!!

The "Ersttag" Field is very unsharp printed...lol, never seen such a bad scam Grin Grin Grin

In my Opinion you printed the A5 letters with basic FDC Layout, bought a Stamp (or Produced one ) and stamped it by yourself. The Ethereum sticker is also not real, i will forward your post and will check all with austrian Post and Capacity.

You only want to gain money from your scam!

What the heck?? I had a personal meeting with the vice president and they are all 100% real!!! Hand stamped in the headquarter of the Austrian Post in Vienna.

And no, you are NOT right. FDCs are not all laser engraved. Just the ones subscribed philately members ordered.

The Ersttag field is also a stamp. Please call them in the Philately and ask if they handstamp "Ersttag" and if they have stamped the unicorn on FDCs.

Man, You have no idea, I never ever scammed anyone with purchases or sales. I believe to much in karma and that it bites back.

These prints were absolutely and honestly stamped in the Philately in Vienna. The signatures are from the vice-president given in person during a meeting.

Capacity has nothing to do with this.... They just made the tech and will do it with future editions.

Believe it or not. There are just this five framed sets and there won't be anymore like these.

100% legit and you should do better research about FDCs and the stamps before Posting such an offending post...

You have some nice stuff here. And sadly when i buy something rare, something more rare always shows up.
How many copies of these have been made?
How can we be sure that such a unique sets will not pop up for sale later?
It would probably help you to sell more faster if you could update with prices rather than waiting for pm's and hoping someone to offer a fortune
Cheers

Hey stackitup,

If my word counts, I can absolutely guarantee you, that the five signed frames are the only ones and that they won't be produced anymore.
I had quite some effort and also many expenses to get them.

3 of the frames are UNIQUE
2 of them are two times in existence.

Thanks for sharing the info on these stamps Imperial! Great set of stamps you have for sale.

Do you know if the second version will be a BTC stamp or not? Cheers

Nope sorry, not a BTC stamp... Unfortunately. Still Ethereum based.

Ahh well...still a crypto stamp!  Cheesy

Someday someone else will issue a btc stamp  Wink

For sure Smiley but I think there still is a chance for a BTC stamp from the Austrian Post. In the moment they want to use the benefits of NFTs and so on. Let see and keep our fingers crossed.

Hello community!

Hope you all are doing great!

[EDIT:] Because it seems we got some misunderstandings here and the offense of kermi85 in terms of claiming I would be a scammer,
I want to make the following clear, even if I thought everything I wrote implies all needed info and that it already was totally clear.

1. The signed frames are not made by the Austrian Post and never were intended to be sold officially. I NEVER SAID it would be different!

2. I got the signatures from the Vice-President in person during a meeting.

3. I got the signature of Julez from a very long and pathetic stamp collector and had to pay quite some money for this rare signature. Why rare? Because she refuses to do signings and just signed a few at the first-day event.

4. ALL SIGNATURES ARE REAL and totally legit, no counterfeits or whatever.

5. the "Ersttag" stamp and the "red unicorn stamp" are hand-stamped and made by a worker in the "sales and consulting shop of the philately",
which is located in the headquarter of the Austrian Post in Vienna. The real collectors here know, that there are two versions of the red unicorn stamp.
One is laser-engraved and one is a hand-stamped version.

6. I had quite some expenses to get these signed frames and I am still proud of them because they are one of a kind and I am pretty sure
there won't be any other signed versions in the future of this stamp.

7. The FDC Ethereum Holofoil Edition is made by philatelists and officially stamped through the shop of the philately (also in the headquarter in Vienna)
I got them through my good connections.

8. ALL STAMPS ON EVERY SINGLE POSTCARD, COVER or PRINT ARE ORIGINAL STAMPS!

Thanks for your attention and if you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
