There is an address quoted here with your name... can you sign from this address?

I cannot for that address. It's been years since I last used that one.

How about this?

I think I do have access to that one... I'll dig through my old windows installations to find the address. Thanks for finding that, it's a great starting point.

Yeah, I think they can but you'll have to contact theymos or Cyrus for that.

Nope,  but I have suggested previously used addresses be logged there for situations like this. Admins can restore posts if you know of any where you posted an address.

I think it was in my signature at one point in time. I know it was in my profile. Can admins check individuals deleted posts? Anything that would have been deleted probably would offer proof. It's hard to check through 3-4 years of post history and try to remember what's not there.

You asked for it to be locked but either way if you want it restored or locked/banned you're going to have to follow the steps here:

Yeah, any idea where I can grab old addresses from the account? The hacker cleared my post history of any addresses. Do you have a list of previously set accounts in the profile?

If you can reasonably prove the account is yours it can be banned but signing a message from am old address associated with it is the best way to do that.

Honestly it would prefer to be recovered rather than banned. However, I'd rather have it banned than anyone else using my name.

Any idea how I can offer proof?

Thread pretty much says it. I can't PM due to new account restrictions.

Can we lock the account until I find my old private keys? I might have to dig through old drives / backups to find them. Most of them are a few years old. I can also do verification for the first email registered for the account.

Edit: Pretty sure this was my last post as me: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12983578

The rest are all from someone else entirely.

Edit2: I'm pretty sure my account was hacked in the past, so I added a new BTC address to my account post hacking and backed up the keys to that. I'm pretty sure I have the password saved, but I can't for the life of me, remember the wallet address. I think I used an online block explorer to save it for me. I know I have a physical check somewhere for BTC, which may also have been registered to my account at one point in time... but that'd require a lot more digging as well.

Edit3: Ah ha! I may have posted one of these addresses in the past. https://i.imgur.com/d6t5bIc.png

But I'm assuming the hacker cleansed all my previously used addresses.
