... It is not easy to maintain a forum which has more than 1 Million Members ...

If this is true, one would think that they could afford to pay someone to do the maintenance on the accounts since as far as i have seen there are a lot of people having the same problem as me and getting the same level of response. Two admins obviously is not enough. Large part of influence of this forum comes from it's user base which is important part of community. I have been on and off on this forum since 2013 and with such a lack of response i have a feeling that they simply don't care.

Interesting how admins find time to delete bump comment but they don't give a shit about hacked accounts.

I guess you are confusing between admins and moderators.

We have only two administrators Theymos and Cyrus. However there are 5 global moderators and few (25) staff members, but they are not at all responsible for recovering hacked accounts. This job is done by administrators only.

Sad but it's true fact Embarrassed Hacking is happening too much in bitcointalk now. After merit system, spammer can't make a high rank, that's why they just keep trying to hack someone's valuable bitcointalk Account. A bitcointalk Account with high rank is very much precious more than the lords of the rings! Hope one day 2FA Verification system will enable in this forum. Within one year, lots of people have joined and I am not sure but maximum account came here to manipulate bitcointalk Forum Rules. Moderators are working very hard every day, It is not easy to maintain a forum which has more than 1 Million Members!
So, I can suggest you, Please give them all things what you have and keep waiting. You will get an answer if your information becomes true and exact. Good Luck

Thank you for the consoling words but i get the feeling that this will not happen. I'm waiting since January - for 5 months now. I really don't know what to think about it.

And the worst thing is that i see that on the original account last active date changes from time to time...

nah, you just have to be content with your new account.
my old account got hacked as well, already reported it, and it has been 4 months now without any answer, so i guess i have to stick with this account.

Are you sure it verifies? PM me or post it here so I can check. If it doesn't verify or isn't from a valid address you won't get it back or likely even a response.

can i pm you as well regarding this matter?
thanks.

You're probably not going to get the account back because it's likely hacked. Why do you not have an older message and why is there a huge gap in your posts from August 18, 2014 until you reappear on August 24, 2017?

Do you still have access to these wallets:

I like the Bitcoin because you can mine but not get dirty Wink

The addresses you mentioned are a part of the old wallet, i think i should still have it stored somewhere. I changed the wallet when i collected the BCash coins. The reason for a gap of 3 years was my disappointment since i was a part of horserider group buy which did not ROI because miner was delivered with the delay of several months. I was quite disappointed and almost gave up on btc since i lost ~13 BTC then. My account is hacked for sure. It happened on 28.Jan. I got the mail that the email was changed. It seems that someone found the way how to change other people's email address.

its not to easy to retrieve that account so many process maybe you just report and lesson do not trust anyone  Smiley Smiley

Actually for admin it should be no big deal. And it has nothing to do with trust, someone found the way to change the email on targeted user. So it could be anyone.

I have no doubt that he is very busy and not just now but in general. It takes a lot of time to run a forum of this size and this is probably not the only thing he is doing. Unfortunately, there is no one else. Cyrus did not respond for two weeks.

As far as the inside job is in question, this is definitely one possibility. Large amounts of money tend to affect people in a strange ways. But people have different ideas about right and wrong. And with all the coordinated attacks on bitcoin, i would say that this forum represents important target.

Cult i would not comment - like any other cult - manipulating the truths, semi-truths and imagination into a something that suits the individual need.

There's a lot going on now perhaps thermos is very busy as of the moment.
You might want to investigate in this moderated topic of nullius The nullian bitcult he stated that the possibility of inside job in bitcointalk community is rather possible furthermore he was claiming that a judgement day will come.

P.S it is pleasant to become a follower of this bitcult, and see how things go.
