I can certainly say that the economics of PopChest greatly outweigh the current ad-supported model. 1 bitcoin paying viewer ($0.25) = 250 ad-supported viewers ($2 CPM). As bitcoin becomes more popular, the numbers skew heavily in the content creator's favor.
This is imho what helps the most to grow the bitcoin market, factual data. Most people are doubtful about bitcoin and its price volatility. But as soon as content creators realize they can win a lot more distributing their creations through bitcoin than with actual models like adsense or amazon, despite the variability of its price, the bitcoin market can explode and as more people enter the bitcoin market I believe its price will get more stable which will contribute to the cycle.
