Are you saying th3j35t3r is Adrian Lamo?  Or that he was another player in turning Bradley in?

Certainly appears to be one in the same.  So, what's the next step??

There is no next step, he has the coins, he wins, game over.

Have you considered offering a real bounty for information that leads to the recovery of your funds?  Like hiring a real detective?

So far this is my only "real life" lead. I am in the process of trying to find this anonakomis guys to politely ask him to return the funds (minus a agreed upon thank you payment for returning the funds) before I get the federal and local authorities involved.

If anyone has any valuable info that leads to the recuperation of the funds or info on this guy please get a hold of me. I am willing to pay for info from the recovered funds as soon as I know the funds are safe.

just to clarify, no one has "hacked bitcoins" what happened was someone had their personal computer compromised, which allowed a hacker to transfer their bitcoins away.

True, sorry for the mis-statement!

if you look at the bottom of the post he claims "Also just FYI – He is AKA – NAKOMIS and NOAH etc etc on your ANONOPS IRC."  @Anonakomis is the twitter profile that has been taking responsibility for the theft and also claiming to have sent some of the coins to wikileaks, lulsec, etc.

Hey,

I'm looking at the blockexplorer site and I see that 25,000 bitcoins was sent yesterday. Can you tell me what exactly I am looking at?

Is this a particular account or is this all bitcoin trades? Let me know

Hacker "th3j35t3r," back in April, got the idiot who took credit for the $500K bitcoin heist of June 2011 on Twitter to expose himself.

Interesting development in this case, wouldn't you say?
