Dear All,

Firstly I would like to apologize if I am posting this in the wrong thread and full disclosure this is my first post!(if you have any recommendations where I should ask these questions, it would be greatly appreciated  Embarrassed)

I am the founder of HackersHub community in the Netherlands, which is open to anyone to join but we target Infosec professionals. we have around 400 members in the Netherlands and are deeply rooted in the Dutch "Hacker" community.
Two years ago one of the co-founders of HackersHub introduced me to the other types of cryptos - but I only have been actively trading for the last two months. Furthermore, in the last two months we have been actively securing multiple ICOs as they are likely to be targeted by hackers.
We have been looking for funding and research grants in the past, however the Dutch government is not very receptive of these plans despite us organizing meetups for them and generating free PR for them. So we have eventually gave up on looking for government funding and luckily we got sponsored by a private IT Security company in the Netherlands, which keeps us going.
However, the co-founders and myself still see a gap in the market related to IT security that is currently not being filled correctly and our recent work with companies who are running their own ICOs made us "fantasize" about the possibilities to launch our own ICO.
We have an extremely capable network (Devs, designers, Infosec professionals/influencers)but we also all have great jobs and we do not want to invest our time if there is no demand for a "hackershub token"
The details about why this token would be valuable are hard to explain if you are not in IT Security yourself, but if I would have to explain it in one line - It would be a token that could be exchanged for a multitude of services from IT Security professionals which allows companies to optimize their cyber security spending and therefore their budget.
my question is, what is your initial thoughts about this? and any tips or advice is more than welcome.
if anyone is interested in knowing more, please don't hesitate to contact me (via hackershubNL twitter is the easiest)

Thanks in advance!
