No, hacking Bitcoin or any other altcoin is not easy at all. Even if someone knows your wallet address. Bitcoin is known for its security and even hackers used it for a long times for transactions as dark web.. It's kind of strange that a hacker hacked someone wallet with 6000 BTC. If that was the care then the wallet wasn't secured and the provider of the wallet might be involved in that hacking plan. Altcoins like, Ethereum, Litcoin, Iota, and others have a very strong security and all the transactions from them and to them are traceable.
