I'll believe it when I see it.
Still have seen ZERO proof their announced SHA256 miner actually exists or is being worked on FOR REAL.

1 of my friend told me about this mining company but I tried google and can't find much info about their company and so their products.
In their very cheap design website (just only wordpress) I thought it will take me 10 minutes to done their website better than that. lol
How can people trust them while their website don't have real address too! Strage!

I think I will believe it when we see the bitcoin miner in April.

Halong Mining is just a scam company that will never release any actual hardware. You dont have to worry about this messing up any ecosystem since it is just vaporware.

Got sent a link to a halong miner this morning by a friend, which brought me to this topic,

This was for the 16th/s miner,

Although bitmain are sketchy, ive got more confidence ordering with them than this company  Undecided

Interesting (weird?) to see that they're selling (or at least developing) a new miner before they've released the Bitcoin miner they have. (Not here to debate the existence of that miner. I did pre-order for April but that's for a different thread...)

Just thought I'd share this video for people who might be interested or on the fence about getting into ASIC miner wth Bitmain or Halong Mining/Dragonmint where VoskCoin mentioned that Siacoin may be getting forked soon so that Bitmain's hardware will not be able to mine that new fork. He says it's off of their discord. Not to put any words in his mouth or to say for sure what will happen, just thought it was good information he shared that could effect how viable these new Blake(2b) miners may or may not be in the future when they're released ("If they're released" in the case of Halong)

He shows the chats almost exactly at the 8 minute mark.

I think anyone who buys the Sia and DCR asic may make a little money if they get in early but later these miners are going to be scrap there's one coin you can mine with each everyone knows the big miners are going to get all the miners all the little miners get fucked ya real decentralized now isn't it

Halong Mining / DragonMint are now coming out with their own Blake(2b) ASIC.

No price nor date yet, BUT 3.5TH  THAT'S ~4.5X BITMAIN'S A3 and Obelisk's SC1 !!!!!!

Sad to say, but Blake(2b) is now screwed....it's gonna be much worse than X11...at least that has several coins to spread the X11 hashing across, whereas afaik Blake(2b) is only Sia
