with distribution of altcoins to BTT members.... I would say atleast 60%, maybe more...but majority is not active. So active maybe 30%.

Do you guys think that all those Hero members from bitcoins thread are totally disinterested in altcoins, even though they know they can make fast money of it? I never seen them active in altcoin threads... I guess they use sockpuppets too.

I would say it depends on date pretty much. 30% for 2012 and older and 50% for 2013 2014.

There will be lots on here don't get me wrong, but yes, many of them will either be spammers or sockpuppet accounts, mostly spammers though, it's like that with any forum, even the popular ones.

When I joined bitcointalk.org I was quite aware of the use of sockpuppets, particularly because money is involved and both FUD and cheering paid out. However, the excessive and really pathetic use of sockpuppets by digitalindustry (see also here: digitalindustry aka kolin evans busted on planning a scam) made me wonder whether it is much more than what I formerly believed. Obviously, we will never know, but I am interested what you think how many there are.
