Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to enter our competition and bad luck to those who didn't win.

Secondly, I'd like to address some of your concerns:

  • So far, we've had nearly 3000 entries for our competition. We launched it last Friday (28th October) and are running it for a week (to this Friday - 4th November) and as we clearly display on the page, there are a limited number of prizes available (31 in total) so not everyone is going to win.
  • This is not a fake giveaway. As someone mentioned, why would we bother running a fake giveaway (especially for such small prizes)? We're trying to build our reputation, not destroy it. As the marketing manager at CoinCorner, I have a budget to spend, so thought running a Halloween-themed giveaway could 1) attract new people to bitcoin 2) attract new customers to CoinCorner and 3) be a bit of fun for people! Wink Also, one of the great things about bitcoin is the blockchain - by listing the winning addresses, we can publicly prove that we have sent the prizes.
  • On the subject of sending the prizes, I personally send them myself  Grin
I hope that clarifies any doubt you have! We plan to run these giveaways on a regular basis - our next one will be a Christmas-themed giveaway. I do appreciate your comments and feedback as it helps us to fix any issues etc.

Better luck next time!

Make it provably fair. I clicked the 2nd pumpkin at least 15 times (if you refresh it lets you go again), and while I could be incredibility unlucky, I suspect that it's rigged. The chance to lose 15 times in a row is ~0.228%. Why bother running fake giveaways? It just makes your reputation worse and won't give you the traffic and customers you want (I assume) from the promotion.

Interested in the Power of Bitcoin
I just "won" .50 GBP.  I got a message that it will be sent to my address the next working day.  I'll post an update.

Same here. I only heard the spooky sound and nothing more. They are showing the addresses to where prizes were transfered but I'd like to see the winners here, only then I'll believe someone can actually win on the site.

I completely agree with you.

No one is winning. Also i don't think that choose one pumpkin or another changes anything.

If someone win, please post it here.

I tried it twice (yesterday and today) but I also only got that f**king spooky sound. There are some winning addresses on the site, but we dont know whether they are real or not. Hope someone from bitcointalk won the prize and confirm it here. Otherwise, most people will think that it is just a fake giveaway.
More likely than not that it's a fake giveaway.  Reason being that there seems to be an unlimited number of retries.

I stand with Ukraine.
I didn't win anything and don't see other people here brag that they won something. Are there anyway any prices I hope  at least to see someone win.
