Correct me if I'm wrong but that one topic is probably the craziest Bitcointalk topic ever. It's 7 freakin years old, the OP hasn't logged in since August, but yet people are still merit-ing that post lol.
It captures the essence of a typical bitcoiner so well - drunk, failing in relationships, madly defiant, and dreaming of immense wealth. And I mean all that in the most positive way of course.

With the day Satoshi wrote his last post in the forum, the bitcoin Pizza day, and a few more, this is for sure one of the most noteworthy days for Bitcoin in general, crypto in particular.
It is definitely a legendary post and the term became embodied in everything bitcoin and crypto. There is a post from 2010 that I came across the other day that I really like for other reasons. It shows how honest the early adopters were, had a sense of community and belonging. Take a look at what the member wobber did when he discovered that he could abuse Gavin Andresen's bitcoin faucet with TOR.

Me too, listened about Bitcoin for the first time 7 years ago. It is a pity that until 2017 I didn't show the curiosity it deserves, but I suppose that it it never too late to enter, just be patient and hodl.

Although, I registered my Bitcointalk account this year but I have heard before I register my account about 'HODL', that the special way that is referred to holding of bitcoin for long term which is HODL is said to originate from this forum. I have never seen this post before but this would definitely be the post. The day is unique and should be remembered and what the OP said are all true. As at 2013, those that hold bitcoin up till now are now millionaire or more.
