There is an interesting Coindesk article from a female crypto insider here. Some insights are a Greyscale report suggesting that 43% of Bitcoin investors are women, and a Gemini survey putting that figure at a very close 41.6%.

There's not a huge amount of verifiable information out there on crypto developers, but it does seem - as we might expect - that women are hugely under-represented in this area. This 2019 study does find some predictable results:
