From the UK here, and I recognise that without Canada and the US the war would have been a different story.

It's Remembrance Day here too.

Respect to those that fought and died for our freedom that we take for granted.

It's not widely known, but Canada was responsible for 90% of the defense of the northern Atlantic convoys during WW2.

Our participation is the war has often been described as "1% of the population fighting 10% of the war".

Freedom is not free.  Ramen.
