In Bitcoin Core on your #2 machine... Goto: "Help -> Debug Window -> Information"... and see what the "Datadir" value is. This is where your blocks folder will be and where you need to out the wallet.dat file.

- Bitcoin Core Version v0.16.0

Operating System:

- Computer #1: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
- Computer #2: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

System Hardware Specs:

- Computer #1:
   - CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2GHz
   - RAM: 16GB
   - Hard Drive: Samsung 500GB SSD, used space 370GB, free space 95GB

- Computer #2:
   - CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz
   - RAM: 8GB
   - Hard Drive: 1TB, used space 770GB, free space 160GB

Description of Problem:

- Computer #1: Hard Drive ended up with corrupt sector after a restart, some programs and files missing, Bitcoin Core would no longer start, giving error below inside quotation marks:

 "Assertion failed!

  Program: C:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe
  File: chain.cpp, Line 102

  Expression: pindexWalk->pprev"

- Computer #1: Recovered Wallet.dat file and saved it offline

- Computer #2: Installed Bitcoin Core v0.16.0 to import backup wallet from Computer #1 onto Computer #2.

- Computer #2: No Bitcoin folder in APPDATA/Roaming directory after install & blockchain download / synchronization.

Questions:

Can Bitcoin Core installation on Computer #1 be fixed?

Why is there no APPDATA/Roaming/Bitcoin directory after installing Bitcoin Core on Computer #2?

What are some options for my wallet.dat file to recover the funds whether with Bitcoin Core or another local or web client, keeping in mind I have the wallet.dat, but can't start Bitcoin Core anymore.
