Trezor and Ledger are two of the most popular and safest purses. But perhaps I prefer using Ledger nano s rather than Trezor.  Because Legder supports more coin, tokens

I use several multicurrency wallets and have not yet thought about the hardware wallets. I think that there are reliable wallets so there is no point in buying hardware.

I find Trezor more sturdy hardware wallet. I am a fan of it. We can also store ERC20 tokens. On the other hand, Ledger Nano allows more options to store cryptos.

The safest, most practical wallet LEDGER. I use it all the time. You always have to press the key to send it. It's safe on the count. I do not suggest anyone else.

Useless waste of money. Everything will be in plastic cards and in a smartphone. It is much more convenient and cheaper

Maybe you had an experience of using a hardware wallet sir, well i respect your idea, it is still depend on us, on what make us convenient in storing our tokens and coins, the only cons of using this wallet is the limited number of coins to be stored, based on what ive read on the internet, i dont know if they had increased the storing capacity.

The only thing i like about hardware wallet is that is not easy to hack and nobody can do it, except you yourself, but if we loss it, there are possible instances that you cannot recover your coins and tokens, if you had not backed up..

it looks like using a very good wallet hardware but should your computer or tool to connect the trezor you have to be safe from any viruses do not get your device exposed to the virus and contagious to the trezor you have.

Well,i have been using ledger Nano S which until some months back had a little security flaw which was however never exploited and so was patched up before any harm could have been done. For ledger, the Pros are that it is very secure so far us you keep your passwords safe .One con is that the keying in of your 4 digit pin code is quite uncool.Another con is that if your recovery phrase happens to be stolen you are likely to lose your funds too

Trezor is one out of the best hardware wallet brands at the moment Smiley. You no need to worry if you're going to buy one. But you should buy directly from Trezor company or legit sellers only cause there are so many guys lost all their cryptocurrencies just because they take a Trezor wallet with much lower price contain free virus inside Smiley)

Purchasing a Trezor soon and wanted to get some feedback before i made the purchase. Any pros cons on the different hardware wallets?
Just like you I also really want to have trezor, because in my opinion trezor is a very safe wallet from hackers, The online purses are still unsafe today, many people are losing their assets.
Hard wallets are the safest wallet to store electronic money. But unlike other types of wallets, you will have to spend a little on investment costs for this wallet. However, the benefits of hard purses are much greater than the price paid. As an intelligent electronic money investor, you should invest in a hard purse to keep your assets out of the reach of hackers.

i think you had better purchase ledger nano s . it is easy to use and secure than trezor in my opinion. i also use ledger nano s wallet. it eth, neo, btc wallets and many wallets in there. i recommend you to purchase ledger nano s unless you purchase trezor.
in any case if you have a lot of monnet and make transactions with a large amount of finance, then for greater security you better get a hardware purse and do not rely on the safety of others. I believe that investing in such a thing is fully justified.

It's defeintielly nice to have, I like having the coins in a metal wallet. That hardware's soul purpose in life is to protect your coins. I use Nano myself. It is a great piece of mind. That negative is it takes a lot of effort to check the balance, but there are probably api's for that. I haven't found anything out of the box for that.

I don't think that is a waste of money for people that have a high amount of BTC or outcomes and want to save it carefully. I really advise people to buy a hardware wallet if they want to store a massive amount of money else web wallets will be good for just a few thousand dollars. I really use block chain to save my BTC and MEW for my outcomes.

Trezor is good enough but if you still want to have another one from different brand, I think Ledger is the best choice Smiley.

I'm also having a Ledger wallet, it's very safe, easy to use and the most impressive thing is shipping Smiley). I received Ledger after a week from the day I bought it on the internet although it's very far from my country.
sorry in advance this may be outside the main topic but may i ask where do you buy nano ledger and how much does it cost? I plan to buy it because I listen to the + news about hardware wallets. thank you for your answers.

I got mine from Amazon to avoid the intl shipping time and cost. BUT MAKE SURE you are buying from "Ledger Official" seller on Amazon. Not one of the ther random sellers that will populate when you search and click for Nano S.

Actually I am planning to purchase my first hardware wallet in the near future. I think everybody prefers to put their coins in a hardware wallet because it safer and more secure compare to MEW. But since it is very expensive so I need to join bounties first to acquire one.

I can only give you an idea about Nano (Ledger) so far I'm satisfied with it and there's no problem with it.

I'm using it now as a my main wallet so I'm very well at peace that there's nothing wrong that someone can penetrate to my private keys as I've kept it only for me.

Using the hardware wallet is the best decision you ever made, yes its true hahaha, because you have the full control of your funds and the safety is your control, Unlike putting it on the web wallet or any exchanges, you dont have the assurance of their services, if they could stop, being hacked or being scammed. A lot of disadvantages of putting your hard earned coins, by putting in the web wallet, which is not surprising nowadays. Go ahead and buy a hardware wallet, i support you on that decision. Whenever you have it, just keep it in a safe place.

Have a great day mate. Looking forward for the success you want in life.

Share your experience of use. Also would like to purchase. I'm wondering if it's possible to use it for several wallets. And is it possible to make a backup when you use this product.
Of course you can have as many hardware wallet as you want if you have money and you want to purchase more than 1. Beside it's possible to backup your hardware wallet, you can save your private seed then if you lost your hardware wallet you can use your seed to recovery your lost hardware wallet.

You did not understand me. I'm wondering if i can use 1 device for several wallets. And for different currencies. I understood, about the seed phrase, just did not think about it, thank you.

Both Trezor and Ledger Nano S are good choice. It will be no bad choice between them. I'd even say - must have at least one of them, if you are holding some real amount of coins.

Ledger Nano S had the first burglary:

The story began in November 2017 when Rashid reported a bug to Nicols Bacc, director of Ledger Nano, who might allow attackers to steal users' wallet funds.

Rashid noticed that the microcontroller used in the wallet was not safe. Although it allowed the use of buttons and screen for entering data, it was connected as a proxy with the Secure Element (SE). The latter contained private keys, which meant that the hacker could cheat the SE in different ways. Here's how: retailers and resellers can change the microcontroller's system software, which, now at risk, can verify its "identity" in the SE. Rashid further explained that the attacker could control the user interface and use malicious code to set the randomness to zero and add his own seed for recovery. Rashid chose the word "abandon" to prove his opinion in the uploaded video material. Now that the attacker has a mnemonic phrase, they could easily obtain private keys.

After Rashid sent the study to Ledger, he saw that the band did not take him seriously. Nevertheless, they published a firmware update on March 6, which was severely criticized by Rashid. He published his opinions on this topic on Twitter because he thought that theLedger team should publish his information and turn on the problem solution for the next critical update or hide it so that the hackers would not have time to use this trick.

Well, it looks like it's advertised as the safest hardware porfet to store cryptocurrencies is not that safe anymore, since the holes and errors in the microcontrorel software have been found for 15 years ...

Number of Coins Trezor support less than Ledger Nano S. But Trezor does not limit the number of coins install in it, Nano you can install 5 cryptocurrencys maximum.
You should buy 2 same devices (2 Ledgers or 2 Trezor). The first one to use, the second one to backup (enter 24 keyworks of the first one).

I would go for Ledger Nano S not because it is better than Trezor as both are very secure wallets that give the user a peace of mind status regarding the security of their coins but because Ledger Nano S is more altcoin friendly and because you are asking in this section I vote for Ledger Nano S which I own one.

I never owned a Trezor but I heard only good things about it too.

+1 for the Nano because of it's altcoin friendlyness
+1 on here. I do own both hardware wallets which i had purchased online and i would say there no so much difference but when it comes to altcoin friendliness then i would really go for Ledger Nano but if you do like to use up Trezor it would still be a good choice. Its just matter of coin holders preference on what would suit him best.

No need to get the feedback, Trezor is the most trusted and highly recommended hardware wallet. I am not whether Trezor is costlier than the Ledger Nano wallet. You can which one is cheap and then buy the hardware you want mate.
Digital encoded password option is very easy one to work for the people and this is one of the reason everyone love it.
I do not know any cons about this wallet but if you very high amount with you means you can go with this hardware else desktop wallet alone enough.
