i am still unable to understand where my coins stored into my hardware wallet or hardware wallet only display my balance and my coins are stored somewhere in cold storage .

like for bitcoin wallet there is lot of wallets like Electrum and BitcoinQT .

as per my information in BitcoinQT my money stored into my pc . and in Electrum my money is stored on somewhere in electrum wallet

if hardware wallet store coins inside does they have disk space like that to download blockchain data or they store on 3rd party servers which getting hacked everyday since hackers are very genius you guys seen many pervious cases like MTGox etc

For now hardware wallets have proved that they may be the best way to store coins,or to be more precise private keys for coins which you own.So when you connect your Ledger,Trezor or KeepKey device to internet they will display your balance/transaction,but your private keys/seed will always be protected inside the device.

Only problem we may have with hardware devices is when servers they use to give as access to blockchain are down or have some problems what happened to Ledger servers not so long ago.But seed which is generated by hardware devices can be used on other HD wallets like Electrum in case of we need to make recovery.

i found my answer thank you Lucius

actually the coins are not stored anywhere. The right question would be to ask where your private keys are stored. They are stored inside the device and they never leave it, even when you sign a transaction.

On the other hand, the backup words can be used to recreate your private keys on the new device, so you should store them in a completely secure place and NEVER disclose it to anybody.

if you are serious about buying any hardware wallet to keep your Bitcoins sage, please choose between Trezor and Ledger Nano.

It's all been already said, Trezor and Ledger Nano. Nothing else to recommend.
Still I would suggest to combine the wallets, use multiple kinds, like mobile wallets too, but avoide online wallets, especialy blockchain. And never keep all your coins at just one place.
No matter how wallet is secure always something can happen and there is also human factor that shouldn't be forgotten so additionaly security is never too much.

Actually you can use a HW (although I have never tried it myslef) as an almost unhackable 2FA provider for online wallets, so it is superior even in this regard to just having your phone as a 2FA device. A phone can be easily hacked and then the hacker hacks your online wallet (through the information from the phone), then gets your money and 2FAutenticates with a phone (which is already hacked). That scenario is impossible with a HW as a 2FA device.

hey, so I have two of them. I have Trezor and Ledger Nano. I have read that you can refresh the hw from the backup phrase, but if I was to trust all my money to it, I didn't want to get vendorlocked in any particular product (which may be discontinued). So I tested it myself: and it turned out I could refresh both products with the same backup phrase, no problem there.

I think I could recommend them both to you. They have their advantages and disadvantages, but what doesn't? Ledger in segwit mode didn't want to pair with Electrum wallet (Trezor did), but Trezor suposedly has this hack that when you have physical access to it you need only 15 seconds to get to private keys, but I don't know if the news is true or not.

They both were shipped in sealed packages, so I think nobody (no 3 letter agency, that is Smiley ) played with it en-route.

They came empty and I was able to start them from scratch, they generated all private keys (read: backup phrase) for me when I first started them.

I hope I helped you.

An off-topic thought: when someone asks for help on that forum, usually it is not answered at all. But all threads requiring writing a one sentence reply of the type "yeah I think the bitcoin will get to n millions in k years" get hundreds of pages long. That is not very good for that forum usefulness I am afraid...
