Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
In Magnum, to store your private keys you can use both the Ledger device and a backup file which is used to encrypt the private keys. Your wallets from Ledger are available as watch-only at any time, therefore Magnum is pretty convenient in case you don't hold all your crypto on Ledger. It's available to store no more than 3-4 coins on Ledger since it has not so much memory so I suppose not so many people use only Ledger.
Most people that matter their security use ledger Hardware wallet or any HW. Holding x numbers of coin in a hardware wallet doesn't matter, security does. Also, there's nothing new with the wallet you're introducing from the existing ones.

BTW, does Ledger work with Android devices?
Yes, mycelium does but only for bitcoin though.

MEW is only for ETH-assets, instead Magnum is a universal wallet where you can hold a lot of different assets. Of course, you can use Ledger platform, but in case you have assets which are not stored on Ledger what have you do?

Okay wait, I should have added more context. What I meant was, If I'm a ledger user, why would I use your platform instead theirs? or MEW for its supported assets.

Moreover, you needn't download an app to use your Ledger device. All you need is to visit app.magnumwallet.co and connect your device to PC.

Next year, we are going to make our wallet open source.

Fair enough and glad to hear that! but until it happens, I'm gonna stick to my opinion/stance on this.

So this is the wallet on the service section with the signature contest, seems you're trying to promote your product with signature camp.which is a good move for promotions. Plus as mentioned above, if you let people(devs) code review your wallet such to change to open source then it might be a huge help as well to attract users to use your wallet
.

We hope this campaign will help us to attract lots of new users and make some buzz around our wallet. I mentioned above, in the previous reply, the reason why we do not make it open source now.

So why is this not open source?

Another reason why I still can't give my trust is because you guys are still new to the market (Registered On:2018-07-14). I did find some reviews but the numbers aren't much, imo.

And, I don't see a reason why its better to use your platform instead of ledger's or MEW

We do not want to make it open source from the start due to several reasons: 1/ It takes a lot of time to prepare source code to publish it, our dev team isn't big, but it's very overloaded( you can check how much work has been already done) 2/ Our team releases some exclusive options for communities which are easy to be 'stolen' if they are open source, therefore we need to attract more users at first to be competitive. Next year, we are going to make our wallet open source.

Yes, we are very young: the release of our wallet was in September. The first community we worked with was the Anon community. Our team really appreciates them for the trust. After that, we worked with Tezos, AION, Komodo, Peercoin communities and have only positive feedback from holders and founders.

MEW is only for ETH-assets, instead Magnum is a universal wallet where you can hold a lot of different assets. Of course, you can use Ledger platform, but in case you have assets which are not stored on Ledger what have you do?
