Too small quantity of qubits, otherwise would buy it. Decided to wait until the moment when the variant of Quantum Wallet with at least 100-qubits quantum chip will occur. Smiley

Should I preliminary order helium    liquefaction station ( and  He-gasholder) to cool this wallet and thus make qubits coherent?

Now this is the kind of feature that I'd love to see in hardware wallets [whoever came up with it is a genius] Cheesy
It would be cool to have this for protection, but than I would have to carry hardware wallet with me all the time, and that is double edged sword Wink

I don't know how I managed to miss these silly "offers" on April 1th.
Don't worry, you are not the only one, I found about this silly devices few days after April 1st.
I think Passport did the best job, but Keystone has gone one step further and they even created dedicated page on their website for that  Cheesy

In all seriousness, I think people with large amounts of crypto should be carrying around one of these.
Yeah, this is not expensive at all and it looks similar like regular flashlight.
It's more expensive than regular wrench but it has more option to defend yourself from attackers (sound, light, stun).

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
In all seriousness, I think people with large amounts of crypto should be carrying around one of these.
An axe to the shoulder blade or spine tends to be quite effective as well. Smiley

For extra safety, also keep a pistol lying around the house in a secure location. Smiley
If you have a gun, it should go everywhere you go. More precisely, everywhere you sleep. It's not much of a use if you have to walk past the thief on your way from your bedroom to your living room to get to your gun. Or the stories you hear about people taking it apart and keeping different parts in separate rooms of the house. Wait a little Mr. robber. I just need to get my stuff and I will be right with you.

Funny April 1st announcements were made by these HW device manufacturers and as you noticed, Ledger could not come up with anything original.

It's the other way around. They whole offer is like a one big April 1st, the other companies had to do an extra effort to be at the same level.

But yes, honestly speaking I think HWs are overpriced and any reason (even April 1st) would be a good reason to make a discount promo. After all, the cheaper HWs are, the more popular they become.

Second special devices was posted by Foundation Devices and it was called Pasport Stun,  that was offering protection against $5 wrench attacks Smiley
This device can be used by people for protection from other attacks, or for getting people shocked.

In all seriousness, I think people with large amounts of crypto should be carrying around one of these.

Shock batons are a good defense against $5 wrench attacks, but it's impractical to put it in a hardware wallet because it uses the entire charge to zap the adversary, meaning it has to be recharged after you use it.

For extra safety, also keep a pistol lying around the house in a secure location. Smiley

Did anyone saw ''special'' deals hardware wallets offered for Aprils 1st 2023?

No, I haven't seen it and it's the first time I hear about it. Although these funny announcements can be used as a kind of way to promote their products. Why did they think of this before?

Funny April 1st announcements were made by these HW device manufacturers and as you noticed, Ledger could not come up with anything original. Which is rather strange, since this company has a lot of resources and could use the holiday for advertising purposes. Well, or just to please their fans.

The rest of the companies, of which there are quite a lot, also didn't have anything like this in social networks?

I don't know how I managed to miss these silly "offers" on April 1th.

I personally like the Passport edit, because it looks like something which some eccentric company could actually offer to some also eccentric crypto holders.
The Trezor one is rather lazy, in my opinion, they could have at least tried to make a small case of a prototype to fool more people in a more convincing way, but at least they tried.

Ironically, it would have had more of an impact on those who wish Satoshilabs to reveal their newest generation of HW. It was a lost chance, honestly.
Do not be so serious, SL.  Wink

While Trezor staxxx looks like a weak attempt to mock the name of one competitor product, the fridge part is nice.

But the Passport Stun looks much more convincing! Cheesy I do like it Cheesy

The Ledger Nano X is really not that great, especially for that kind of money…

It's No-No X, just go and read again. With the continuous list of problems of those, they are a perpetual April 1 (bad) joke. I think that this was OP's point.

Trezor released brand new April 1st device called Trezor Staxxx, coldest, most stable self-custody ever created.
It is so cold that is has to be stacked and kept in fridge.

Very funny, especially since people really tend to keep important stuff like money in the freezer somehow.  Grin Would be interesting to see if the devices are still working at these temperatures.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed seeing Trezor taking a dig at Ledger Tongue

Does anyone know about any other ''special'' hardware wallets released on April 1st?
A hardware wallet, NO, but a software wallet, YES... Blockstream released "this" for Jade but having said that, the more I'm reading about it [e.g. here's one], the more I think this might actually be true [can someone confirm if it really works]!

First one I saw was from Keystone and it was called CryptoBreathalyzer , that was giving 100% gains in just one day! Smiley
The CryptoBreathalyzer uses advanced sensor technology to measure the amount of alcohol in your breath, and it can analyze your breath to determine  level of confidence and provide real-time feedback on trading decisions.
