I just watched one of their videos and they said that fee is monthly. I'm thinking umm 1k a month or 299 a month? Seems a bit much. Also is mining really able to be processed in a cloud? I've read that some people are doing this with bitcoin but I didn't realize something like this was available for anyone.

Another red flag. The "cloud mining" shtick has sheltered at least two Ponzi schemes 'round here. The 'virtue' of "Cloud mining", for a Ponzi-type scammer, is that there's no way to directly verify the hashpower.

Again: actively avoid!

I was contacted by someone on facebook going on about "Being a Rockstar" with the usual "conference all" " coin mining" " we missed the btc boat but not this time" push. What this specific company appears to do is sign up people for packages as high as $1k. You're supposed to build some downline of people that put in $60-1000k and supposedly mine some new alt coin in your back office. (Average MLM set up) I actually saw another copy cat site with the same set up and price ranges.

Now he said "ooh he knows Bill Gates" and blah blah but I'm not one for the sales pitch as I like seeing hard data aka "numbers"....

Please share any thoughts, views, opinions, updates on this.

Looks like a classic MLM scam, right down to the dropping of a famous name. Actively avoid!

From the group that only has 53 people in it no is posting any numbers as it appears the coin hasn't quite gone "live" yet. In their terms they also promise nothing as the coin may never go live.

So my question is... has anyone gotten into this? I just figured if this was legit why aren't any of their members here talking about it. From my view it sounds like they're banking on the hopes and dreams of a few retirees that felt left behind when they saw 25 year olds become millionaires overnight.

Any thoughts, view on this? Now I look at their twitter feed and it's pretty packed but they seem to discuss bicoin not their own business strategy of launching their own coin. Maybe I'm a skeptic or maybe the way the guy spoke about it I felt "poor guy he's getting played and has sunk 1k into this".

I signed up but the push to purchase a package was pretty much in your face no matter what you clicked on. No I didn't pay anything but the guy contacts me daily with " purchase any coins" and I'm telling him "what those imaginary coins you have yet to see?"

Anytime I level with him he tries " ooh got to go have a nice day" like I was making him watch someone's bathroom accident live.
