was just wondering if anyone had invested or was thinking about it?  I have thought about sticking a £1000 into it and have a wait and see.  Megaupload was a billion doller company and if MU2 is as successful, a £1000 pounds now could be worth £100,000 some day.

what you think?

i was actually thinking about it for a while but i am not yet sure. i believe that  megaupload 2.0 can become successful very fast, and even if it is not as successful as advertised the smaller success would mean a good profit.
but i have not yet made up my mind about investment anyways, i am a little bit worried about the legal issues kim dotcom has had in the past.
That sort of the only reason that has been holding me back as well. That and the scammy nature he seems to have.

scammy nature?!!!
as far as know the legal issues of kim dotcom were all because of piracy which is letting people share copyright content on the platform not because of scamming anybody!

but I am also a little worried about this and I think this investment is one of those things that can go either ways and will go that way hard. meaning it will either go to the moon or you lose everything Cheesy

This time Kim Dot Com learned a lesson. I watched an interview with him and him lawyer (?) about Bitcache.
He said that it is not possible with the system he designed to be caught as violator of copyrights anymore.
Basically server won't be able to tell what kind of media, files are being uploaded - everything will be encrypted.

Investing £1000 into the uncertainty is not wise probably you test the system with lower amount and make a withdrawer first before increasing your investments.

Yeah i think it might be better to just take the £1000 and buy some more Bitcoin,  i just bought a load more Maidsafe it is dirt cheap at the minute.  Grin
The hype over maidsafe also seem really high, i haven't bought any of them still holding bitcoin in hope of nice pump soon. Does maidsafe have same capability like bitcache have intended to do?

I thought you had to be an accredited investor to get on bnktothefuture or whatever it's called?

mr dotcom's speciality is hype and he sure is good at it. i'm not so sure had can deliver especially considering his legal position and the fact that his every single move is being watched by scary people.

Speculation over bitcache is high and i also think megaupload version 2 may generate quite sensation over cloud storage business however we shouldn't be sure about this going to be as successful as megaupload back in early 2012 because peoples taste over cloud storage and competition in this business field has grown significantly in last few years. So if they can't deliver something unique, cheaper, rewardable platform , then they can't meet all this high expectation. I was also intrested in investing in this but i can't wait for years to get some dividends back, so i like to stay behind and watch how this goes. Crowdfunding have already raised 8% of expected amount, may be this will be all sold out within a month.

I guess It's a good idea If you can afford to lose that amount, otherwise .. just don't. He really believes in Bitcoin and everything but from Megaupload 1.0 he made a lot of enemies (mostly from the U.S) , If he don't look at every possible scenario that could screw him, he will get his website shutdown. If you see people didn't invest in his website , It's only because of the legal issues going on.

Instead , I'd recommend investing in MaidSafeCoins (buying the coins and not investing on BnkToTheFuture) as the user above stated , It has more potentials (probably even more then Bitcoin).

Yeah the buy in is pretty large and there wont be any dividends or payouts for years by the way it sounds, unless i miss read.  but igot the impression from the literature that you only get anything back if the company is sold or desideds to pay dividedends if they float on the market.

and yeah i bought into Sjcx and Maidsafe awhile ago, them investments and doing well.  Wink  they are actually still pretty cheap buys on polo.

Minimum amount is bigger than what I was willing to invest, gonna pass this one, but I'm buying SJCX and MAID, although they are on my radar for quite some time and already make a few trades with them.
