I haven't seen a thread about the discussion of Advanced Bitcoin and this is not entirely what we can rely on because there are still many shortcomings that they have to solve, especially since we see from the liquidity which is currently still small and needs a big push from the team for the development of the project, so to participate in the project requires great consideration for all of us.
Me either and I wonder why so many new projects that has a bitcoin on their name are now coming out despite of the poor situation of the market right now. Ah I know, maybe it's because of that bitcoin hash token that is said to be trending now in binance and on coinmarketcap. This is the same when a meme coin hypes. Another meme coin will then come out with almost the same name.

@OP it's not wrong if it's only an airdrop. If I were you I will continue on it to know if they are paying or not. Airdrops are very easy to do anyway and it does not cost you even a penny. What is only not advisable is to buy and hodl this coin for long term.

Hi everyone. There is this coin named Advanced Bitcoin (aBTC). I was primarily once involved in their airdrop but stoped due to lack of information about their authenticity. Has anyone traded this token?
100% it's a new project that will most likely end up being a scam. so please don't put your money in projects (tokens) that use the initials BTC (aBTC) because there is only one real BTC.

Hi everyone. There is this coin named Advanced Bitcoin (aBTC). I was primarily once involved in their airdrop but stoped due to lack of information about their authenticity. Has anyone traded this token?

this is an altcoin, honestly it is a fraud, an altcoin without any dignity.

1 - from what I see this farce is being traded on Hotbit, what the hell has hotbit become? even coins of this low level are being traded on hotbit

2 - this:

Advanced Bitcoin price today is $ 32,003 with a 24-hour trading volume of $ 4,990.00, market cap of $ 320.03T, and market dominance of 27,425.03%. The aBTC price decreased -1.53% in the last 24 hours.

Advanced Bitcoin reached its highest price on Jul 28, 2022 when it was trading at its all-time high of $ 77,793. The lowest price since it's ATH was $ 20,003 (cycle low). The highest aBTC price since the last cycle low was $ 75,018 (cycle high). The Advanced Bitcoin price prediction sentiment is currently bearish.
Advanced Bitcoin's current circulating supply is 10.00B aBTC out of max supply of 10.00B aBTC.

all-time high = $ 77,793  Shocked

who in the world would spend money buying this shitcoin? bitcoin, which is a currency that has thousands of buyers, could not reach 70,000$ and this shitcoin, which is a copy of bitcoin, would it reach 77,000$? this is clearly something manipulated and adulterated numbers

stay away from that shitcoin

Hotbit is not a reputable exchange so am not surprise to see such scam coin trading in the exchange to capture naive traders. Only those who can not identify the difference will fall for this. No coin can replicate the original btc so calling it advanced bitcoin when it has no single utility is cocky.
it will be a huge misfortune for investors of this project when they realize they are holding nothing but a complete trash.

Whether it is a scam or not need to be checked. With the available information it looks like one among the coin that is being developed with the name btc. Already we've got around 150 coins with the name bitcoin added to them. This is just a way to reach the market and this marketing gimmick used to be a success during the days of ICO. Now people are well aware.

I've noticed the same thing. There were already scam coins that made their name sound like Bitcoin to make it sound legit. This has been a long-time strategy to make investors fall for their bull trap. It's my first time hearing about aBTC and based on the information given, there are still lots of lapses and red flags so I don't think it's worth investing.

Well, just upon seeing the name, you can really think it was a big scam. In fact, some people also doubted Bitcoin Cash but that is somewhat exemptional, unlike this new thing aBTC. Even having no research on this project, we suspected and actually guilty of being a scam project.
People must have to be aware of this and even we think about altcoins where we consider this but we also have to think that there is only one BTC exist and that is the Bitcoin we know since before, nothing else.

Really no one would buy it at that price. But why is Hotbit supporting it?😳

Never heard of aBTC before, if you get this for free maybe through airdrop pls do not try to sell, the sender is trying to lure you and you will end up losing your private key or money, you will be asked to connect your wallet to a strange platform, that's when all hell will break loose.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Lately I've found a lot on social media and telegram or email various types of Airdrops that are strange to me such as mwBTC, eBTC, wBTC, nBTC, sWBTC and many others, so be careful of any form of airdrop that has no clarity.

I didn't find anything about Advanced Bitcoin, it seems it's a scam that needs to be avoided.

(aBTC) weird airdrop type, I've never seen aBTC token type, you should delete all data related to aBTC airdrop, I'm pretty sure it's a type of airdrop scam that doesn't have a master, you will lose if you keep your wallet access to those tokens, be careful for weird tokens like that.

Before investing you must analyze the sites well there are many scammers who are scamming different coins in the name of bitcoin. Airdrops are usually not good these are usually new scam techniques you choose the right currency by researching the market. Better stay away from airdrops proceed with caution as the number of frauds and scams is high.

if you want to invest, then you should not invest in unofficial coins that use the name bitcoin. if you want to invest in something like that, then choosing bitcoin is the best. I also see that the coin in question has little liquidity, and it may have great potential to be a coin fraud or even a scam. if I have the coin, I will probably sell it if it can be sold and invest in other more potential and popular coins, because currently there are quite a lot of scam coins that go into the wallet but can't be sold, that is one of the fraud techniques. if it can't be sold, then just leave the token and don't care about it. right now, is not the time to try

1st time I am hearing about this token. And the liquidity is only 8 BNB, is it reliable? Where the token value is $40k.
If you get it from airdrop, I recommend selling. I've seen some tokens don't allow contract transactions, I'm not sure if this is one of these.

Same here, there are lots of shit tokens being distributed as an airdrop mostly on BSC network, and worst some of them can be used for dust attacks.  Be careful in accessing tokens in your wallet.  Access only those tokens that you verified to be safe.   If you are not careful, you might find all the tokens that have value in your wallet swiped.

Sell it fast while you can. This type of token trying to use the name of btc will not survive long.
Even known forked BTCs are slowly losing their market value because there is no reason for them to exist.
And now, an unheard project attaching btc to its name, high likely that it is a scam or crap project.
If you have via airdrop, better sell and never look back. You will understand later on.

Yes i received some tokens

If you received this coin as an airdrop, then you should not hold aBTC, but should try to sell them on poocoin.app or pancakeswap.finance. And if you manage to swap, then you will be able to buy some real bitcoin for the money you receive.

So far I haven't seen the coin and have never been involved at all, so you have to be careful to start taking part in it, but if you only receive from Airdrop it's not a problem, this Token has quite a little Liquidity, maybe just to find people, to connect directly to their wallets, but next we need to check further, in order to make sure it's correct, I suggest to be careful starting to take part in this kind of token

Don't be too overjoyed when there are airdrops like this. And most projects that put BTC on their project names mostly end up in a bad fate.
Because they're all copycats of BTC and these developers won't do good to those gullible people that would like to have that positive thought that these airdrops are really free money. Well, it's also now being used by scammers and developers that would just like to see pump and dump as it's easy to create tokens these days.

It's just another shit token created to get as many people in as possible before the creator dumping everything and leaving for good.

There is a famous rule created by yours truly that you should abide by, if a new token has "btc" added to its name then it's probably (most likely) a scam.

This is fake bitcoin. The price getting manipulated by its own creator. As you can see that the price of abtc was even higher compared with the real bitcoin. that to lures you to connect your wallet. It can be called as a spam token. There's an intention from the creators by giving you free tokens like that. It's a very risky to connect your wallet. Just keep it sitting in your wallet and don't do anything with it. It's a fake bitcoin. Money will be rarely coming for free.
You are right, even there isn't a buy order in some of that token markets, developers only manipulate prices to trap investors. I see their twitter accounts token abtc at there are a lot followers and I am surprised, why there are still people who consider crypto as a scheme to get rich quickly, so that trusting that kind of shit token will clearly trap only for them.

I have heard so many bitcoin token created by various people were being sent to the so many unknown address. You must be careful when receive any random airdrop like that. In my opinion even if that's traded on exchange site and it doesn't mean it was a legit airdrop.
So many people getting fooled by scammers through various scam airdrop that people thought that was a legit airdrop.

If it is not a scam, then it definitely not worth spending time. There is only one, true Bitcoin. aBTC is just another Bitcoin copycat, that wants to get attention by using sound name. Just like all the altcoin, which you find when typing "Bitcoin" on coinmarketcap. They are all created to drawn users money into greedy creators pocket.

If you want to own (buy for your investment) or trade (buy for trading and hunting profit), you should buy the real Bitcoin. Don't fall into any token that claims to represent Bitcoin. They are not real Bitcoin and if the projects, companies behind these tokens have issues with their treasuries, governments, regulations, these tokens will lose values, depegged and you will not be able to exchange 1 token to get 1 Bitcoin.

Trade or invest with Bitcoin and say no with others, tokens or Bitcoin forks.

So have you received something from the airdrop? I saw that if this token is having a very small liquidity for now. https://www.dextools.io/app/bnb/pair-explorer/0x59dc07dd84006792d3536667331882e72686df5a

The possible thing if this is another meme token / scam token (potentially) created by someone. The liquidity was small caused by if the creator only puts small amounts money to lure people to connect their wallet.

You must be careful if there are dusting attack but if you wanna to sell it and just us the new wallet that didn't connect with your primary wallet.
