Hi sure, etherscan shows detailed transaction of a particular address, whereas FindETH scans through your hardware (or addresses) for all addresses created using your private key (obviously your key doesn't leave your hardware you just sign it) and it will scan through addresses possible under different derivation path.

For me it's useful as I have ETH where the addresses is created using different provider (derivation path) such as MEW, Ledger Live and sometimes I worry where did I put my ETH....

And thanks for reminding me to move the thread to Altcoin!

merry christmas~

so after all the search has done all the ETH that we found will be collected into 1 address?

FindETH.io is a web app developed by the MyCrypto.com team, it's a tool that help search your hardware wallet and addresses to see if you have long-forgotten ETH or other tokens.

I've tried playing with it and found some some coins lying around, has anyone played with it?
I have tried that but it seems like you must know what was your ethereum address before you can track it. You can even check it manually. i don't see something special from that new platform that already developed by mycrypto but im using mycrypto desktop wallet and that's more than enough. the mani usage for that feature to make you able to see what tokens that already sent to your hardware wallet that you don't aware or take it without adding the contract manually. it seems like an old feature.

How long does this FindEth is existing? I'm not comfortable that it will be able to go through my hardware and scan almost everything.
Kindly educate me about its function.

This shouldn't be in the Bitcoin forum since it is about Ether which is an Altcoin. I suggest you move it to the Altcoin discussion board.
What benefits does that site offer compared to https://etherscan.io/ for example? You enter your ETH address and whatever is stored in your wallet is displayed as part of your portfolio.

It's clearly not that useful if only need to check one address but if you have a whole wallet, like a passphrase or a hardware wallet many with addresses to check, then it could definitely be helpful.
Have you went through the site? Because i think does not offer the same services as etherscan for it was stated on their site that " it can help you if you lost your Ethereum address, Ether or tokens that you got from a mnemonic phrase" i don't what they implies nor go further since i have asked to provided some information but open code l is open source though.
