Its almost impossible to get a good arbitrage during live betting. Say if you bet on a team to win at over 2 odds, and the team scores, now odds for opponents to win go up, over 2 mostly. You can now bet on opponents and have an arbitrage set up. But its a foolish bet to arbitrage if you were betting on the better team in the first place. You might get an opportunity to arbitrage, but not a good one.

Are you serious, then you don't know anything about live betting. Arbing in live match give best opportunity, not every minute but you have to wait to right time and it will come. Best way to arbing do with exchange there you got opportunity. Not much benefit doing in 2 bookmaker site because you have to calculate odds everytime. In exchange it will showing clearly it's good for arbing or not.

It's not only difficult, it's also dangerous.

You'll always take some time to place the multiple bets. And in this short amount of time, anything can happen, so you're basically betting that nothing will happen on this period of time. It's still a bet Smiley

That can be a cool way if you have a huge amount to bet with and time it well. I have done such things with small amounts and had some small profits.

There is a site which saves your time in collecting the information and show you exactly which two sites are offering Arbitrage bets.
They too have a newsletter alert. I don't belong to the site anyway, just sharing my experience

It's been a rumor that some sites blocks users who practice such methods but I've never encountered such things.
It doesn't make sense for bookmakers to block users who arbitrage. How would they even find out? Anyway, arbs are created when the sportsbook isn't balanced, like if someone places 10 BTC on 1 to win, the odds on X and 2 will increase, and the odds on 1 decrease to balance the books. Also, I have already signed up on bitedge, but they don't track live odds, and half the arbs are from cloudbet which I don't want to touch.

I have tried many times arbitrage bets in soccer and cricket matches recently.I don't place higher bets but it is always good to be safe on both sides.I prefer to take small profit if anywhere is possible and I have access to change or place bet.I am always happy with small but stress free profit.I have placed on directbet two different bets many time.It works and seems easy way to me.
Please know what you are talking about before replying, or show that you want to learn. I have deleted your post because your are talking about hedging, and not arbitage betting.

Again, you are talking about hedging, but I think you are just confused. In case you are talking about that rare case that a team scores in the 1-2 second delay between placing my 2 bets, I'm not going to worry about it since the chance of it happening is extremely small. I meant an arbitrage during live.

Example: It is basketball, team 1 vs team 2. Team 2 is the underdog, but takes an early lead. Sportsbook 1 might have Team 1 to win @1.6, and team 2 to win @2.4, since team 1 is the favorite and the odds on that sportsbook decide to still favor team 1. Sportsbook 2 might think that team 2 should win by now, and maybe offer @1.9 on team 2, and @2 on team 1 to win, creating a arbitrage bet.

I never put alot of time into it but I have had no luck finding my own arbs let alone on the live events.  Im guessing they are out there but the people who can find them do not want others knowing as I think the lines correct themselves so they shove as much as they can and do not have problems finding funding.

I would love to find someone who is into doing this an buy into them with  share like deal.
I would think there would be more arbs available during live, since they don't have extra research if the underdog takes an early lead. Normally, the sportsbooks agree with each other most of the time, since they all have time to do research.

Basically the title "Has anyone tried to place arbitrage bets during live events?". I was thinking about trying to place an arbitrage bet during live, since I thought that it would be when the bookmakers have the most disagreements. It wouldn't be as hard to do as I thought at first, since you can open 2 tabs, type in the bet amounts and press "Bet" at the same time. Before trying though, I wanted to ask. I don't want to waste a bunch of time looking for those if they are very rare in live betting. (I have noticed with sportsbet.io that the edge is higher during live betting though).
