I normally just charge my account once and then I keep playing with my winnings until they run out, as I never withdraw all the winnings.
Of course, sometimes I need to charge my account again as I ended up losing the stash, but when I do, I always charge the same amount regardless of the season or festivities.
Now if an unplanned event happens and I need to shorten my expenses, I opt for not recharging my account and waiting for better days

Nothing has changed for me as a result of the festival season, I already had my budget, and a certain amount of money is usually set aside for all my gambling activities so during this time when a lot of people complain about the increase in the price of the items being the reason why they don't gamble or stake high in their bet I don't listen to them because during this period I increase my staking power in all my gambling platform so that a single win will solve most of the financial needs that will be used for the purchase of gift items, traveling and sorting out some bills in the family.

In the Philippines, there is a thing called 13th-month pay, which is basically, a bonus for the festive season. That is what I am using to pay for the expenses this season. So, I can give gifts, set money for the expenses for the Christmas holiday, and buy something for myself as well without affecting my budget for gambling. I admit, I spend more than necessary during this season but luckily because of the bonus, I was able to spend without touching my allowance for usual expenses.

Im not a solid type of gambler who do really make out some compulsory budget for it thats why on this festive season then i dont really mind nor care much if i would able to play or not.Family first above all which this is the time that do only happens once a year and you do have the whole year which you could gamble which spending 1 day isnt really just
making a huge loss on your part if you do miss out 1 day gambling sessions.

To be honest, i never intend to gamble this month as i can use the money instead to buy gifts for my loved ones and for the preparation of Christmas and New Year's eve. I believe a lot of people are not preparing extravagant anymore.
They have learned their lessons well during this pandemic period.
Even with gambling, they will only play with extra funds unless you are a degen of this habit.

I have to say its really affected by now, but i think that won't be a problem either as i can always gamble even with smaller amount to bet. As long as i only gamble for entertainment purposes only, spending what is extra money is just enough. And besides, we can always gamble anytime we want as long as there are funds, but this holiday season comes only once a year so we should seize it.

I do really spend more than the budget that I've allocated for the gifts and foods and I have to follow that in order. That's because with the belief that I don't get to celebrate that much every year. Sure, I'm spending less on pleasures of life and addictions this month but I had to buy gifts for people and already stacked up some alcohol for the New Year's party at my friend's.

This festive period comes once in a year and gambling can be done everyday,anytime and anywhere. Therefore,I will be focusing more on friends and family entertainment. I have travelled to my home town to spend the Xmas and I will be so busy with social life, I will not be gambling at all this period because there will be no time for that and my gambling budget will be spent on giving out to children on Xmas day that will come around me. I think those who keeps a proper calculation of their budget, would not suffer that much. Always keep one section reserved for emergency situation. Whether it is needed or not. Make one account, keep your personal usages there, One for savings, One for investment, one for daily expenses and finally one for emergency situation.

To be frankly speaking, I must say that within the past few weeks since I came home for Christmas, I have actually spent beyond my budgeted target meant for the entire Christmas and new year celebration, because in as much as it's a season of love and gifts sharing, I'm that type who finds it hard not to give when I happen to come across someone in need, even thou it's my last card. So on the more plain note, this Christmas has abit affected both my savings and funds meant for gambling. Moreover, I equally lost more funds during the World Cup final, as I thought "Home" Argentina will win, staking huge sum, only for the game to end draw 3-3.

The past may be different, but throughout this year especially in the last 6 months my gambling budget has dropped. I put it down because my focus is on investing, it's not because of any particular celebration or holiday.But in the past, my gambling budget was erratic. I could have spent a lot more, or maybe no more than $100 depending on how lucky I was to double my capital to get a win. For sure we get the win, so that will also help for some time.

If your budget gets affected by the season then you may need to improve your forward planning or even give up gambling altogether, or at the very least drop it down to a negligible amount instead. That being said, some people have to cope on fairly restricted budgets and I guess they might find entertainment or a release in gambling so it's a valid question. Personally I only place small bets down and have enough spare capacity on my income that it barely gets any thought at all. If you have a low income there is definitely better ways you could be spending your money, especially during the festive period and you might spread a lot more joy by spending it on friends and family instead.

Definitely, the festive season affected my gambling budget. With lots of kids to buy gifts and the elderly too, I have to restrain myself from gambling during this holiday week. I do not want to gamble the happiness of these kids and the elderly. I may probably win but it isn't 100% sure and since my current gameplay is in a negative trend, I have to adjust because I don't have extra fund to make up for it if ever I got a bad session again.
So for now, I will be happy reading the successful gambling results of our fellow members since I will keep my distance from gambling until the holiday season is over.

At first I am not that kind of addicted on gambling but in my case the decision fully depends on the financial situation of that time. My gambling budget is very small and there's no way any spending could affect it. Also, my budget for gifts is an entirely separate thing so It doesn't get affected by me gambling or going out.
When I have a lot of money I gamble more, but usually it's still less than $100 a month thrown away at various sports bets.

First of all, what are we talking about in the context of the celebration. This is important, because most people don't set a definite budget. second, if in a big event like the world cup event. then I'm sure, there are many people who budgeted a sizable amount of money.
my example, in the usual months before the celebration of the world cup event. I only gamble as needed, I mean there is no extra budget that I have to spend on this one hobby. but when the world cup celebrations started, i budgeted big enough money to bet. but with the condition that it doesn't interfere with my household finances. besides that, because my hobby is betting on soccer betting. So every time there's a big game, I usually budget more than usual. whether it's for a single bet, or parlay slip mode. it all depends on the situation.
but in fact, if we are well aware of the risks. at least, one should take into account before betting. because after all, the money that has been lost will be difficult to recover. so, gamble wisely with money prepared to lose. then someone will avoid problems, whether it's addiction or something else.

With increasing prices for the basic goods this holiday season, I would admit that my gambling budget has somehow been affected too. I don't honestly have a specific budget or allocation specifically for my own gambling purposes. Any amount will do as long as it won't affect my other spending. The festive season has also nothing to do with how I gambled since I am simply used to gambling whatever the holiday or event.
Don't like to miss those worthy games to place a bet on sports betting that's why as much as possible, I have spare funds for placing my bet.
Our way of gambling shouldn't be affected just because of this holiday season. But if funds are tight, it should be obvious what to do.

For now my budget for gambling is not too reduced, indeed, the festive season or holidays can make our expenses swell. For some people it might not be possible to gamble, but some other people will still gambling to double its value, so it depends on the character of the gambler too, but for me personally don't really think about that if later although at least my budget reduced I can still enjoy to gambling.

This month, my budget increased a bit tbh because of the World cup promotions offered by several sportsbooks and I had to take advantage of them since I rarely make any profit from betting and it's a good time to potentially spend those winnings on something nice. If there wasn't any good promo i'd most likely reduce my budget since i'd rather spend most of the budget on preparing for the upcoming holidays.

No, not at all. I’m still giving a minimal budget for gambling, an amount that I can totally afford to lose. Although I get to spend more than my budget this time because it’s holiday season, and I know it’s quite inevitable, but I have to say, my gambling budget still remains the same and never gets affected with this festive season. And if that happens that I have to reduce it, that’s not a problem anymore since I’m no longer addicted to gambling.

I remain unaffected but the reason is not what you think. I just don't spend money on Christmas at all. I've rejected the traditional way of spending this time where people stand in line in grocery stores and then get stressed because they don't know if they can prepare all the meals and bake the cakes. They concentrate on opinions of others like is my house clean, is the outside lit up, is all the shopping done... Fuck that we don't live to satisfy the needs of others, especially if doing it doesn't make us feel good.
So, I do the minimum, have a family dinner, have some decorations but the bare minimum and we buy ourselves small gifts like chocolates or something. I spend much more on birthdays than I do on Christmas.

Gambling is just there and if I feel like doing it, I will just play without bothering about anything.
I don't want to associate my gambling activity with too much complicated things. As I said, if I feel doing gambling, I will do it. If not, then not.

I'm not one of them; you may get surprised to see my gambling habits. I would never be going to have bankruptcy nor busted even if I lost all of my funds in casino; I don't have a lot either LOL. My gambling habits are very much limited, controlled. Nevertheless, let me share you my observation from my neighbour LOL. I don't belong to elite society though I could have (that's a long story). I have seen one guy losing money all the time including in the festival time & having quarrel with wife all the time. That's ridiculous. Purpose of sharing this; gamblers can barely control/limit themselves.

This festive period can either increase or decrease the gambling budget of some gamblers. Some persons might want to increase their stake because they want to increase their chances on winning big so that they can have money to spend this festive period. Others might spend less on gambling because they have used part of their budgeted funds for gambling to cater for some expenses during this celebration period. For me this festive period didn't affect my expenses on gambling because I already have a budget for it. And I have also learned to spend within my means or budget this festive period. Whatever I cannot afford during this period, I don't bother or strive to get them.

Every religion has a specific time when they use that time for festivals. Now the Christmas festival has started. So Christians keep everything in their calculations. When a gambler gambles they know what amount of money they can spend. They make proper arrangements for it in advance. Normally gamblers are not affected much. But unexpected something run into some problems. If you are forced to spend a little more then gambling may have little effect. How much is your Budget on friends and family? For me, it is not much, I do not have a wife yet that can increase the budget but it is also parts of the planned budget, I mean the money spent on family and some friends. Festive period do take more money but I spend just little amount of money on gambling which is just 5%. But I do notice that my gambling activities always reduce during this time as I have more time with families.

They've been lots of money spent during this period and I'm wondering why its happening so fast. Though, on the contrary, the money, if spent on gambling could yield money or vanish. The festive period like the name implies is one that should be remembered, its been a busy year and tough one we all need to celebrate with loved ones. It's still the same $20/week, not affected by anything at all. It has never changed and always has been that for the last 2 or 3 years, though there instances wherein an esports/sports event is underway and I wanted to make a bet on some games but that doesn't happen that much. This festive season, I am trying to lay off the gambling platform and try to just go around town and discover some hidden spots that I can get some good food from. It's way cheaper and kind of relaxing, but gambling is just a lot entertaining and I really can't get off it that easily.
Perhaps I might do a one time, big time before the end of the year, and spend maybe a thousand dollars in one sitting. Hopefully I don't get dumb enough to actually do that and waste my money for nothing.

Festive seasons always impact gambling budget, because doesn't matter how organized you are, you always end spending more money with friends and relatives due to the festivals. We want to be close to our families and to proportionate them good times, so it's really hard to not purchase gifts for them and more food and drinks for everyone. And when there are events nearby we also spend more by going to these places. Then this money must come from somewhere in order to do these activities, and if there is an idle gambling budget waiting, that is where the funds for the festive season are coming from...

I also cut down on my gambling budget this period to like 5% because of the increased expenses. Family members will be travelling down for, kids would want to go see Santa and expect a Christmas present, I gotta get my partner something nice and take her for dinner too because she has been my backbone this year. For me it remains the same,I have it fixed,predetermined and I don't use it for other purposes even in the festivities season.Usually here where I am people notify before coming so I can act accordingly,i.e withdrawing more money from the bank or topping up my credit card.I love the day I have setup for gambling which is Wednesday and usually at late night when I am alone as I don't want distractions around me,I want to be fully focused in enjoying the slot machine I am playing,if I hit it big great,if not still great but what I want above anything else is to enjoy the session so I never spend my gambling budget for something else.

I only gamble with the money earned here on the forum for example from my sig space. So my budget has not changed at all. If I win i'll cash out, if I lose then i'll try again next week, No reason to get into the bank trying to beat a casino. Just have fun and lose what you can afford.

Nope, it doesn't. Whatever I budget for gambling, I assume as if it is not part of my wealth again and that is the reason I don't feel too sad after losing. So my gambling budget has never been affected by any festive season. I usually set aside miscellaneous budget enough that can cover for unplanned expenses.

The budget remains the same as I have allocated a portion of my income so that it will not distract from the celebrations that will give gifts to the family to get together in the holiday season.
So I will focus on other things that they can be happy about, I can even postpone gambling for a few days because I want to focus on sharing there as a close relative, but with this allocated budget, I can play, even though it's not much, it will stick with budgeting. I can't interfere with other plans on the day of the celebration.

a good gambler should always been able to keep in control the budget even if there is an holiday or even if he is programming some other activities.
Let's be honest, if you had to modify your gambling budget something is not working (it means you are spending too much in gambling), it's better save money for other purposes.

A bit maybe? I mean not a lot, because I try to keep it as strict as possible and that way I wouldn't go over budget at any time. However, that doesn't mean that there are times when I would like to celebrate a little bit more so I would spend a slightly higher amount. This isn't some grand deal though, I am not a whale, I can gamble with like 20-100 dollar range, which means I could maybe crack it over to 150 when the time comes and I feel like having some more fun but that's it. Which lesser than bets some people make here for each bet, hence its not really a life changing amount, I just do it to have fun, not to get rich.

For me yes. I didn't spend anything on gambling 2 weeks ago as I bought a gift for someone I dearly wanna visit tomorrow, I would assume many of us are actually spending for gifts.
There could be people not really putting much spending on Christmas gatherings. For one they know there is a crisis and the commodity prices are higher than last year.

No, I have my job salary separately allocated for my personal expenses while my forum salary is the one I’m using for my gambling expenses which is not affected no matter what is the season. The only thing that affected on my gambling during festive season is my game time because I’m always out for a trip or doing bonding with my family that makes me less active in gambling and focus on social life but my budget doesn’t affected by this holidays expenses.

As always, regardless of any season or what, if there's an upcoming purpose that I really need to spend money on, I will prioritize that.
Gambling is just there and if I feel like doing it, I will just play without bothering about anything.

Its the festive season no doubt about that and yeah its comes with alot of unnecessary spendings, in my locality here the period is celebrated with so much festive activities and its celebrated mainly by christains and you wondering if the period has affected anyones gambling plans totally depends how he or she feels about this period. For me i don't think its affects me in my gambling since gambling is not an act i put under my budget.
