I had read that Silverlight 4 uses rudimentary GPU acceleration.

That could be causing some issues... but I am not sure if that can be turned off or if it does indeed exist.

Well, mining takes 99% of the GPU, so when you stream netflix, you are using about 30% of the gpu, hence the fall in mh/s

I'm still running on a c2d but I set both miners to second core (core 1)

What's your proc? i tend to set affinty to core 3 and 4 on my dual gpu setup, gives me a little bit of breathing room on the front cores. However, if netflix is using the most recent version of flash, flash does do gpu hardware acceleration, thus stealing your hashes like a dirty troll.

If it's not hardware accelerated then maybe everything is overloading the CPU?

Any way to fix this?  I used to have a similar problem with youtube videos then turned off hardware acceleration in flash...Netflix uses silverlight (which according to the little bit of research I've done has no hardware acceleration) and my hash rate falls from 720 mh/s to 200-400 while streaming Netflix  Embarrassed  I have a 5870 and a 5850 running independently and the hash rates of both cards fall also, not just the one connected to monitor.
