They probably incorporated the DAG file fix into this driver, that's why you're getting more hashrate.

Today the Vega GPUs are released and with it a new driver. I tested the Vega specific driver on my RX480 setup and it runs slightly better. 27mhs -> 28.4mhs
The driver is labeled as "Crimson BETA" in the system info but it fully works as far as i have tested.

Can anyone confirm this? Is this the DAG fix?

You can get the driver from the official AMD support site. I hope this link will not ban me lol
