Can you post the settings you are running your miner with?
The pool hashrate for me seems to be averaging around 390 mhash/s with a little variance. Overall I'd say it's about 10 mhash/s below what cgminer shows. Still above where I thought I'd be. Of course I'm happy and imagine that I can get better mhash/s with even a modest OC. Though I'm still a bit in the dark on how much graphics cards can differ in the same model. I wasn't expecting such a standard deviation from the average hash rates that I've seen online and on the hardware comparison page.
Picked up a 6870 recently for mining for a secondary rig. Card I got is right here:

The unusual thing that I noticed is that I seem to be getting around 100 mhash/s more than I should. Running stock core @ 900mhz and getting 400 mhash/s +- 10 mhash/s over 24 hours instead of about ~300 mhash/s that seems to be the normal based on the bitcoin hardware comparison and other posts that I've found.
It's definitely a good surprise though I'm still wondering what the reason is. Is there anything different about this card to differentiate it against a normal 6870 as it doesn't seem to be different. Using GPU-Z and I'm sure that it's not auto-OC'ing under a load. Seems like performance that I would be getting from a 5870. If 6870s have changed (doubt for an old generation) and I can get performance like this I would consider getting another one for another rig that's not running. What are your opinions on this?

the results you get will vary from person to person, as well as when you correctly optimize your miner you will yield much higher hash rates! All in all, no need to complain there
