Amount of NXT will vary depending on algorithm and hashrate. Not sure about the shift length.
1) Choose your algorithm: http://hashrate.org/getting-started
2) Download the software: http://hashrate.org/software
3) Use the config generator at the bottom

Nice to see how much the multipool is grown, both in users and in design of the website. Point your miners to the future, point them to NXT!
