By default most anti virus programs will pop up a warning, but windows defender has a reputation of not telling you at times that it blocked / removed a file.
He should get a notification which is visible at the bottom right in his notification bar if he uses Windows 10. Additionally, he can always open Virus & Threat Protection in the settings and click on Protection History. There he will see all the logs that Windows Defender made, including quarantined files. However, it doesn't matter now since the problem has been resolved.

Solution found

There's a bug with the Windows 0.7.0 client, downgrade the client to 0.6.1 and run the client with --disable-update

Thank you everyone for help

Thanks Dave

I don't think  it's a rooter since Hashtopolis 0.12 works and newer version 0.13 makes this problem.
I will check my router. I thin it's some king of new dependency that is needed for client or server

Server IP [REDACTED]
User: [REDACTED]
Password: [REDACTED]
OS [REDACTED]

Server hash only hashtopolis on it so there is nothing to hack, provider [REDACTED]

I strongly recommend you to remove those information and purge the server immediately. It's just matter of time before someone take over the server, change the password, turn your server into botnet and your server provider decide to purge the server (and possibly ban/freeze your account).

@LoyceV and @TryNinja please redact those information from your website.

Too late aAt this point google and a few others probably already have archives of it. @Alexeymalutin change the password and check your access logs.
That or just wipe the server and start again.

Back to the original issue, IF you are 100% sure it's not some AV grabbing the file and removing it since it never makes it out of the temp folder I would look at the server closing the connection before it's finished and the desktop just removing what it thinks is an incomplete file.

Also could your front end router for the PC be doing any kind of filtering? More and more home routers are coming with some for of AV so it could be killing the download too.

ETFbitcoin yes I did it. By this problem is not from AV. I tried via local host and via web server. Version 0.12.0 works the new 0.13.0.
And I can't use 0.12.0 since I'm with RTX 4090 that is not supported till hashcat 6.2.6 and I was able to run hashcat till 0.6.0 on 0.12.0 after this it's an Hashcat error from hashtopolis forum I found that the command error is connected with newer version of Hashcat that is not supported by Hashtopolis 0.12.0 and I'm stuck with 0.13.0 and at this point very curios what is the problem for even self education.

If some one have any ideas here a the server credentials for root login maybe someone can find something that I have missed.

I've no idea to use Hashtopolis, you might want to ask help on https://hashtopolis.org/ instead.

I second that Windows Defender may be removing the file as hashtopolis client downloads it.

I'd suggest you to add an exception to the whole working folder "C:\Users\Studio\Desktop\New folder",
by following these steps: support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security

At a guess it's your AV coming in and removing the file(s) because it sees something it does not like.
It's been a issue on an off with Hashtopolis for years. Check the logs of whatever AV you have on the machine, it's probably in there.

By default most anti virus programs will pop up a warning, but windows defender has a reputation of not telling you at times that it blocked / removed a file.

I don't know anything about Hashtopolis. But if you are looking to recover a lost password to a Bitcoin wallet, maybe Wallet Recovery Services can help you out. It's not a free service though. Their fee is 20% of whatever amount they recover.

If you want to try to recover the password yourself, read about BTCRecover.
You can find out more about how to use it here: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

You might have better luck finding an answer by moving your topic to the Bitcoin Technical Support board. There is a "move" url in the top right and botton right corner of the thread.

Don't know is this topic can be posted here. But since in affects BTC is some of the cases think it's ok.
So I was tiring to recover my password, for my btc wallet, along side my PC I has planning to connect my Laptop.
And the solution for this that I have found was the Hahstopolis platform, but I got the following error.
Any one with experience with this software ?

Well I have installed the latest Hashtopolis 0.13 on my local machine with Ubuntu 18.04 PY 0.7

Installation is ok and working.
But when I start a task via hashtopolis client on windows.
My client fails to download Hashcat., it downloads something in tem folder and deletes it in few seconds.

C:\Users\Studio\Desktop\New folder>py hashtopolis.zip
Found existing lock.pid, checking if python process is running...
Ignoring lock.pid file because PID is not existent anymore or not running python!
