Hi there!

I'd like to know what exchange website would be the best to buy Bitcoins and other coins, without all that drivel with ID verification and all that!

Simply normal stuff, where I could deposit USD from my VISA and proceed!

Thanks

George

P.S. Don't want to use Local Bitcoins atm!

I'd definitely recommend localbitcoins even though you don't want to use it for whatever reason. It is just the most seamless experience every single time, and i don't think that any exchange can rival its reliability and longevity at this point.

Coinbase can be hassleless, unless something goes wrong. In which case, you won't be offered any help. Also there are tiny limits, meaning you probably won't be able to buy more than $2k a week at max.

As i said, especially for buying bitcoins fast and conveniently, check out either localbitcoins or paxful. Both work well but i prefer Localbitcoins because of its longer history. Don't just discard the idea of using it.

Well, reason is painfully simple - price! Other than that, yeah, back in the day when I was floundering with Bitcoins instead of taking it seriously I was using LB for buying some little amounts to play in casinos and I even won half of Bitcoin!

Eh, should have bought 50 in 2015, would have been a millionaire already!

Thanks for the advice!

Thank you all guys, much appreciate the input!

If you happen to find a "hassleless" exchange, it is an exchange to be wary of and to keep a safe distance from. That's because exchanges with relaxed rules and anonymous operations are typically those that operate without the proper credentials and the trust of the community at large. The less hassle you expect from them, the more hassle they will later give you. This is the golden rule to remember before you sign up for an exchange account.

Keep this post of mine in mind and if you ignore it, come back later and let us all know. I'll be here and will try my best to offer some comforting words.

Seems reasonable, I thought about Challengy though, even market cap website is referencing it, but I heard you, thank you!

Ok, thanks everyone, much appreciated!

P.M. Guys, I've recently found out that I have a few old bonus transactions pending on one of my wallets, mainly bitcoinwallet.com, I hate to ask, but so not to create another thread for such a triviality it'd be much appreciated by me if some of you would click the link, just 10 times needed!

Cheers, and tia everyone!

You won't really find a decent/legal exchange that doesn't require some forms of ID verification. I've had success with Kraken and would recommend it, though their site is a little laggy at the moment due to obvious increased traffic.

If you want to use a visa I recommend using coinbase. It is easy to set up an account and you don’t need to verify via ID to use your visa, you are limited in how much You can buy without verifying your account. They do charge a fee though. That’s the only place I know of that you can use a credit card but I’m sure there are other exchanges out there I just don’t know of any.

Ok mate, thank you very much for the input, much appreciated!

I'll check that one out!

Coinbase is terrible. You'll likely never get verified at all. I had money stuck on there for months with no answers  to dozens of emails to support, though I was selling coins so maybe it's easier buying.

No such thing as a hassle free exchange. First as regulation is coming fast, KYC requirements are coming fast and because this is crypto, tighter security protocols have to be in place cuz being a noob in security will cost you.

Well I see!

There was one mint something, but it's closed now!

There's another Czech one, also in the green layout, but I can't remember its name...

I'm happy with binance so far. I think you can't buy bitcoin directly off of them (at least no without some sort of verification), but I had purchased my bitcoin somewhere else, and once I transferred it over to binance, I've been trading bitcoins relatively hassle-free. If you already have somecoins and are willing to trade / invest in altcoins, I would recommend binance.

Thanks for the heads up, will check this one out as well!

If you are willing to buy bitcoin with your visa cards than you are already losing privacy you are looking for, if you are willing to buy with your credit card than I don't think not sending any of your personal documents to exchanges can save you from personal identity theft.

You can check purse.io where you can buy stuffs for others in amazon with your credit card and you will get paid in bitcoin but you may end up paying quite higher rate for bitcoin.

Coinbase, bitpanda, cex.io are few options where you can buy bitcoin with your CC but you need to get verified there.

I use virtual VISA, QIWI stuff, which can be reissued at any time, so no privacy concerns here! Cheers and thank you!
