You mean people are united only if the government imposes censorship and limits what can or cannot be said? How does hate speech cause division exactly? It's just a manifestation of peoples thoughts and opinions (however ugly they might be). And maybe division is not necessarily a bad thing. Would you like to be united with people you fundamentally disagree with and help them achieve their goals? Probably not.

Hate speech laws almost always evolve into some form of a censorship, when you no longer can express an opinion even if it's not target at anyone directly. Is publicly stating that e.g. you don't support gay marriage a hate speech? Who is to decide that?
Do you know what racism or hate speech is? Do you like seeing one tribe saying another tribe, do you like seeing a religion saying another religion is not true. I mean things like this and racism is a problem that needs to be straightened out because we have the same position in the eyes of the law and someone who often commits racism is usually quite problematic in life. Differences of opinion are guaranteed in the law, but this does not result in racism against other people's ethnicity, religion and culture who are different from their own.

Hate speech laws are not wrong, it's just that humans themselves cannot differentiate how to interpret racism and differences of opinion. Differences of opinion on things that are positive for human development are not wrong and criticism on this issue is mandatory and the law never restricts someone from having a different opinion, but it is not a sentiment or expressing racism towards other people.

Racists try to make sure that they turn their situation into "facts" and so that would mean that's not racism. I am not American nor have I ever been to America, so I can be objective and tell you about blacks in America for example.

When someone says "they are the ones who commit the most crimes, that's a fact" they do not really tell you why that is true, why they do that, nobody questions the fact that about until 150 years ago they were slaves, about 50 years ago they weren't equal, and about 20-30 years ago FBI (this is official report) murdered successful black people to make sure whites stay powerful, they do not talk about ALL towns burning because they were black oriented and did well. Then they tell you oh they commit crime, of course they do, you left them nothing else.
We always look at the past to compare the superiority of ethnicity, skin color and culture, what's worse we will continue to say our people are the best even though they are nothing. The issue of morality is that we should not need differences to say that our people are superior to other people. Life is cool, safe and peaceful when we can accept each other's differences. The person who committed the crime has its own retribution that will be held accountable through the court decision process and they are on the same side of the law as they should be after it ends.

I don't want to discuss too much about problems that have occurred between tribes, religions and cultures, because I think we have the same position in this world. A life that respects each other and can live side by side is the life that many people are looking for, because we will learn to accept other people and will live side by side without any problems. Crime, racism and morality are just a few problems that have been deliberately developed by a small group of people and when we unite these problems will be solved.

Since some people are quick to adopt what other people say without trying to find out reasons of their own, the hate speech may make some people never know what bitcoins really are. But the people that hate bitcoins are helping bitcoin in a way because anytime they express their hatred for bitcoins, people will always wonder why they hate the thing called bitcoin so much. They may indirectly be helping to tell people about bitcoins and raise the interest of people to want to know what bitcoins are.
I think that's a problem that can't be solved easily and in a large scale, people being gullible and being easily swayed by an audacious speeches and letters are a problem which could've be solved by proper parenting, critical thinking should start as soon as possible for an individual, although critical thinking skill can still be learned as an adult you will probably meet some resistance because adults have an established beliefs and habits which is going to be difficult to break especially those with bad but feels good vibe habits and beliefs. The only thing that we can do against hate speech is to try to talk to them in a respectful manner, anger is easily diffused by calmness so a moderation in tone or no sarcasm in your speech or letters would be a good way to have a discussion with people that spout hate speech, most of them just wants to be heard anyways.

Generally, however, hate speech is any form of expression that discriminates against minorities by abusive or threatening speech. Although some countries define hate speech as speech or act that promotes violence.

Although we are free to say what we want but we should avoid expressing an idea that threatens or insults association (hate speech)
I think hate speech is powerless to change Bitcoin direction because of its decentralized structure. Governmental restrictions or inflation have no impact on the supply demand dynamics that determine the value of bitcoin. This year is promising for Bitcoin as a top asset. But hate speech may lead the technologically illiterate astray, making them cautious. We can only offer positives and let people make their own decisions, we cannot force change. Just keep in mind that demand, which is impacted by a number of factors, determines Bitcoin price not mining costs.

Generally, however, hate speech is any form of expression that discriminates against minorities by abusive or threatening speech. Although some countries define hate speech as speech or act that promotes violence.

However everyone has the right to freedom of expression and opinion, although freedom of speech is limited for the promotion of peace because it causes harm and disunity. Hate speech can cause physical harm to its victims when violence is involved and can also cause disunity.

The (CERD) committee on the elimination of racial discrimination was the first to address hate speech and the need to build regulation, prohibiting and provocative types of language. This committee intervene and yet hate speech still continue in our society today.

Those who support (pro) bitcoin and those who are against bitcoin always have a clash in speech. Those who hate bitcoin see bitcoin as a scam and other crime scheme. So with their view on it they see bitcoin users as scapegoat, criminals and money laundering and some special advisers in the government see bitcoin from this perspective so they advised the government to ban bitcoin in their country. And this cause a social trauma between these two groups.
Upon all these bitcoin is still gaining ground in the ecosystem. Therefore, hate speech cannot do anything to bitcoin again.

Even within the BTC community there are exclusionist that speak hatred against other POW coins. Time and time again when I listen to bitcoin maximumists it sounds and reads and feels like haters and bigots. Does it mean all BTC or no coin people are right or wrong no. But they do come across as haters of POW coins and you do not have to read too deeply into satoshi to see that he was a true POW man more than BTC or nothing person.

It is not the problem that how someone is saying about bitcoin or any other coin, every trader should think of his own, that whether his will against the coins is at high level, or nor he is trying to buy some other coin in order to get some profit.
The main problem is we always listen to others, and in very rare cases, we think of our own and taking a step towards trading or towards a coin.

Can someone here please check OP's post for either plagiarism or AI-generated writing?  It seems much better written than his other posts, and the start of his post here sounds bizarre, as if it was just copy/pasted from somewhere and the sentence just doesn't begin correctly.

Looks like he's banned anyway. Plagiarism or not, he won't be posting anytime soon. I can see it thanks to the BPIP Extension, but have no idea how to check if the ban is permanent or temporary (if anybody knows how - I'd be grateful for the info).

And to everyone else, the reason I'm asking for someone to do this is because there are far more talented detectives who can sniff out shady writing, which I've got a strong suspicion is what's present here.

Do we have any confirmation from mods on the policy of AI posting? Would a positive result from an AI detector site be enough to ban someone?

I have always thought of Bitcoin being that asset that brings about unity around the globe especially that it operates anywhere and everywhere regardless of it being legal or illegally recognised...and the fact that it's existence is in the lines of financial freedom, my gut tells me anybody hating on Bitcoin is either just not invested into it knowledgewise or they do some shoddy stuff that BTC could expose them for.

Btw, Bitcoin exists in an ecosystem with thousands of other coins/tokens and has maintained a positive relationship with all because of tolerance of opinions , but in terms of hate speech I have not seen it unless things get personal away from crypto.

Op lately I made a little finding about why so many people are against Bitcoin within my localty and I was shocked to understand that these people actually hate Bitcoin for no reason infact the majority of those who speak I'll about Bitcoin are those who has never had any investment experience, trading experience, people who don't understand anything about Cryptocurrency.

On point! For the few people who I've seen saying that Bitcoin is a scam, they have no single knowledge of it. This is something we all suffer from, wherein we are told something negative about someone or something, and then we create scenes in our head and add a negative tag based on hearsay. But trust me, people will keep getting convinced because it wasn't always this crowded. Back then, there were fewer people who believed and now there's a lot more... I have hope for this.
People can easily believe whatever they hear. Even if it's just a rumor from someone who doesn't even spend, invest, or take the time to study and investigate Bitcoin. Once they hear anything bad like Bitcoin being used as a way to scam other people or hide the money of some people, people can easily think negatively about Bitcoin.

But if there's someone who flexed money that was gained from Bitcoin, a lot of people are literally asking how they do it and asking to teach them. You see, it is all about the news they hear or see about Bitcoin. People don't have enough knowledge but do not give any time to learn about it that's why people always believe on any news they learn/hear about Bitcoin.
The main thing is not to rush to get results from Bitcoin, learning about it first is very important before we invest, the thing that most often destroys Bitcoiners' psychology is bad news, where there will be people who take advantage of their panic for their own gain. Therefore, there are many bitcoiners who say Bitcoin is a fraud, because they are not equipped with good knowledge about Bitcoin, so they experience disaster.

among people, especially those who are not yet familiar with digital technology and do not know what bitcoin is, they will definitely think that investing in btc is a fraud or gambling and in my area there are still many who think that investing in btc is a gambling or fraud and that is the cause mainly because of a lack of knowledge. but I think there will always be clear pros and cons. Let's focus on continuing to learn about BTC because I think one day there will be a lot of potential people who know about BTC and understand what BTC is.

Imagine someone hating Bitcoin because he was told that it is a scam when he has never been scammed before, I think the major reason why Bitcoin is been hated is because it has not been generally accepted by the governments I believe when it is pronounced as a legal tender in all the countries of the world even those who has come publicly to make hate speech against Bitcoin will be the first to embrace the change.
I think this doesn't only happen in your area because it is no longer a secret that some of the many people who hate or oppose Bitcoin, in fact they just hate it, but if they are asked they don't know exactly what they hate because they just judge based on empathy alone for someone who claims to be a victim of a ponzi scheme in the name of Bitcoin or those who have experienced fraud or bad experiences with Bitcoin or other cryptos due to their lack of knowledge.
In fact, I actually feel pity for the people who give Bitcoin a bad assessment, because they are not smart enough in receiving and processing all the information circulating and have too short minds, do not have the ability to analyze a problem or an issue in depth and evaluate Bitcoin as a negative thing. They should feel sorry for themselves because they cannot understand properly and do not have an open mind regarding any of the developments in digital currency.
Currently, the lack of clarity or lack of acceptance or clear regulations from the government regarding Bitcoin is indeed one of the aspects that has an impact on the acceptance of Bitcoin by society. But as time goes by, if their government provides rules or regulates the use of Bitcoin then the haters will definitely feel ashamed of themselves, hide and even just disappear.
So there is no need to worry about someone or a group of people who hate Bitcoin because our lives and success depend on ourselves.

Haters, spreaders of FUD, or whatever you call them. They're all entitled to their opinions about Bitcoin, they're not like us who have nothing against Bitcoin.
But the worrying part is that when they start to disseminate misinformation. However, with the technologies that we have today and with people being smarter and wiser, these haters who are just there to spread FUD are being verified. This is the practice of everyone these days. The good thing for them is that no one will sue them as bitcoin is decentralized and even its inventor satoshi won't sue them for telling hate speech against Bitcoin.

It is indeed worrying when the mainstream media starts to spread misinformation about Bitcoins but this can be countered by research. Since Bitcoin information is all around the internet, the institution that carries the task of misinformation will become unreliable.  So they will have their ratings down and people will more likely ignore this institution's announcement. This kind of method of misinformation will have only a temporary effect but eventually will be refuted by facts.  This will backfire to the institution that release that misinformation and may probably seen as not credible institution.
I think that even the non bitcoiners are still good when it's about researching about the news that they're spreading. These media really are startling the community and the hearts of the panic sellers.
That's how it is all starting when people disbelieve them because of how the media is romanticizing information that they're reporting to the world.
Well, it is no longer a secret to the most that if it's the media telling you something, then you shouldn't be gullible to believe it quickly and you need to verify it first.

The (CERD) committee on the elimination of racial discrimination was the first to address hate speech and the need to build regulation, prohibiting and provocative types of language. This committee intervene and yet hate speech still continue in our society today.

It will be very difficult to eradicate hate speech, racism and bullying in society. Because for some of them, this is something they usually do. And what's more, this also depends on the individual, sometimes there are people who have a bad attitude and always express hatred for something, spread bad news and lies, and carry out bullying actions. This is a crime, but unfortunately in society, not everyone understands it and wants to avoid it.

No matter how much and however the government makes regulations and however there is education, if this attitude is ingrained it will be very difficult to do. Moreover, if you look at social media and other online media, we can find millions or even more comments with hate speech. And this also includes Bitcoin. There is a lot of hate speech about Bitcoin even though they don't understand what Bitcoin is, but they are already judging it from one side just because they hear negative news about Bitcoin. This habit of hate speech is really bad, it has become something they are used to doing. In my country, I often encounter it, like there is no comment column without hate speech. especially for Bitcoin, they are like people who understand everything and are the wisest, judging Bitcoin as something bad, a scam, fraud, crime and so on, and they spread it through various media.

Those who hate Bitcoin are people without mind in their heads because someone who has a little knowledge about finance and freedom would accept Bitcoin without any obligation.

Freedom of speech is very powerful like the people event known yet the bitcoin can possibly gain an information through sharing of thoughts, experience and etc. If the people surrounded with have the capabilities to manage bitcoin properly know the bitcoins essential like more on positive side there's a chance that they will adopt the bitcoin too because they know already the good feedback but if that person receiving more on rants, hate and bad thing they possibly do the same thing even they don't experience it on the first hand. Include too those movies and other entertainment that use Bitcoin.

Actually people are always afraid of weird novel things, btc is not an exception. I'd rather not consider haters as a threat to btc, since any project needs to be continuously criticized in order to become better... So, in general, telling bad things about btc won't lead to banning bitcoins, and vice versa: if any hate speech against btc will be banned, it doesn't mean that btc itself won't be banned at some point. I do not even see how the OP linked those two subjects together as they have nothing to do with each other, if people out there want to criticize bitcoin and its users then let them, if they do not think bitcoin serves any function they can actually use for their benefit then most likely they are right, as someone that does not care for their privacy and that is fine with the possibility of the banks stealing their money one day out of nowhere and that likes for their transactions to be monitored to the smallest detail has no use for bitcoin.

Racism and hate speech are things that people really don't like because they involve other people's good names. It is appropriate for this special regulation to be made so that the fulfillment of a person's right to life is guaranteed and there is no more discrimination, racism and hate speech prevailing in society, although sometimes the existence of regulations cannot necessarily suppress this. Some countries actually make laws for the problem of hate speech against other people and usually many people get trapped when they say something about other people on social media. Hate speech is one of the factors that causes division between people and often this has a big impact when the problem becomes widespread and it is appropriate for everyone to avoid hate speech towards other people if they don't want to get in trouble with the law

You mean people are united only if the government imposes censorship and limits what can or cannot be said? How does hate speech cause division exactly? It's just a manifestation of peoples thoughts and opinions (however ugly they might be). And maybe division is not necessarily a bad thing. Hate speech laws almost always evolve into some form of a censorship, when you no longer can express an opinion even if it's not target at anyone directly. Is publicly stating that e.g. you don't support gay marriage a hate speech? Who is to decide that?

It is very normal for the government to be against bitcoin and to protest against it so it can be shutdown in their country. There has been so many hate speeches overtime by the government. as they cannot have total control of it, they are just looking for ways to bring it down.

Whatever they say or do will not change or stop anything in the bitcoin world, simple.

There are obvious statements of hate, but how about speaking ill of institutions, systems, and practices that are obviously ill? Isn't that just speaking of the truth? Isn't that even called for?

It would be best if Bitcoin supporters only promote Bitcoin in such a way that they would just mention the features of Bitcoin and let the people freely decide whether to embrace it or not. However, Bitcoin is a solution to a problem. It's very hard to explain Bitcoin without mentioning the monetary and financial maladies that the current societies have.

Is it possible to explain antibiotics without mentioning bacterial infections? How can we explain Bitcoin without pointing out the evils and abuses of central banks, fiat currency, third party institutions, and others?

After all, Bitcoin isn't just another innovation born out of our creative imagination; it is a technology born out of urgent necessity.
Ensuring that the majority stays under their control has been a decades-long goal of the financial giants and established institutions. The very creation of Bitcoin is a denial of such flawed systems. Its not about promoting Bitcoin blindly; its about opening people's eyes to the covert corruption and insidious practices of these "trusted" institutions.

While some say, "Just promote Bitcoin's features", thats like telling a revolutionist to speak softly. No! These issues (financial injustice, arbitrary central bank regulations, intrusive third-party institutions) are more than simply platitudes; they're the very reason Bitcoin exists. How can they possibly try to break free if the world isnt aware of the bonds that bind them?

There are obvious statements of hate, but how about speaking ill of institutions, systems, and practices that are obviously ill? Isn't that just speaking of the truth? Isn't that even called for?

Uneducated individuals has always something to say with Bitcoin. That is not new, because it has been with these kind of people even before Bitcoin was born. They are those people who has fear and doubt on investments. I think they do not have the courage to give a try on how things will work with Bitcoin.

The only person who can give a fuck to hate speech against Bitcoin is a newbie who is not yet grounded in the knowledge of Bitcoin. Apart from that, already existing and experienced Bitcoiners don't fucking care about hate speech or not; everyone knows what they want. If someone does not like an asset or Is not investing in it does not mean that asset is a scam, but well, it's normal to criticize; perhaps it's freedom of speech. Some people who invest only in stocks criticize Bitcoiners as people who are taking the worst risk for investing in something they can't physically see or touch, but despite all those criticisms, Bitcoin still remains a great asset.

It becomes a kind of brainwashing against Bitcoin and how it looks bad with a lot of doubts and thinking of it as just a fraudulent digital currency.
Such a mindset also grows because of their bad experience with Bitcoin or other crypto investments so they assume anything about crypto is a scam, even though they as beginners never learn from mistakes and scapegoat Bitcoin or crypto as fraudulent investments.

Regulations provided by the government also affect a person's mindset towards Bitcoin and will have a visible impact.

-snip-
By the way, nobody is forcing another to have a transaction with Bitcoin. It is all about the choice to make and doesn't make anyone so stupid about it.
Those who make the decision to invest in Bitcoin and end up with losses may become bitcoin buyers, but when they succeed they will become new investors who continue to believe in Bitcoin.
It's all about each person's choice, those who know how crypto works won't be foolish enough to hate Bitcoin.

I don't think there is hate speech in Bitcoin or against Bitcoin. I just see it that there are people with opposing opinion which is just what it is. It cannot be classified as a hate speech in my opinion. I choose to see it people don't like Bitcoin and so their so called "hate-speech about Bitcoin is just a result of lack of understanding.

I don't know where do you live, or where have you heard that some Bitcoin discussion has led to some discrimination, abusive, threatening, or even violence. To be frank, I think you are exaggerating here, sure some people don't like Bitcoin, and they spread FUD about it, saying Bitcoin is bad and everything, but they I have never in anytime of my live seeing someone threaten other person just because they have disagreement, I would be very happy if you can enlighten me with some real case with source.

Those who hate Bitcoin are people without mind in their heads because someone who has a little knowledge about finance and freedom would accept Bitcoin without any obligation. I would consider them arrogant because they really missed a great invention due to their own stupidity. Those days are long gone when people considered Bitcoin as a scam or something that can go zero in value anytime. Now most of the people accept the fact that Bitcoin is the future and many skeptical people have invested in Bitcoin.
This is more to say, that everyone has the right to choose whatever or believe what they want, we are not to force anyone to stop hating Bitcoin, other than correcting them on what they don't know about bitcoin. If the so-called haters like, let them have a bad opinion about bitcoin, they can't stop it shining to soar higher. They can only hate but not destroy Satoshi's creation of digital currency that is on the mission to bring financial freedom to the world. By the way, nobody is forcing another to have a transaction with bitcoin. It is all about the choice to make and doesn't make anyone so stupid about it.

Generally, however, hate speech is any form of expression that discriminates against minorities by abusive or threatening speech. Although some countries define hate speech as speech or act that promotes violence.

Many people have come up with their own personal attack against bitcoin through hate speech and the governments also have in their own way contributed in making this same attack on bitcoin, but no any amount of these attacks aimed on bitcoin ever stand because bitcoin is a digital currency that is independent of their various individual speech, this make the bitcoin network rather to be more stronger the more the attack, the more the adoption increases
The funny rule of life is that people don't actually hate what is not good  so the massive hate bitcoin is actually received is because they know it's very fruitful and good and that's why it's getting all the hate and it's a common phenomenon because it's goes around for everything not only bitcoin but the good part of it is that as long as their are people who also uses and vouch for it then it's improvement is still certain.

There is a lot of hate thrown on Bitcoin but it is all futile because Bitcoin keeps on promulgating.  This simply means that hate speech are almost has no effect on Bitcoin adoption.  Not all people are stupid enough to believe all thrown accusations against Bitcoin. In the end, most of these hate speech are proven wrong because the institutions and government are now leaning toward accepting Bitcoin and even creating regulations on how to adopt it without any conflict to its existing laws.
Hate speech from ordinary individuals may not have any significant repercussions. However, what about hate speech coming from influential figures like Elon Musk or Bill Gates? This could be a concerning practice, whether it's part of a calculated tug-of-war or an outright attempt to undermine. Bitcoin is still in its nascent stages, and despite its growing adoption, a fundamental issue it may face is the potential for price manipulation.

Price manipulation always exist in any trade so I am not surprised if the Bitcoin market is not exempted.  I am talking about the effect of hate speech on Bitcoin adoption. There are lots of influential people who undermine Bitcoin and even state that it is a rat poison, in addition, some government restricts and ban the use of Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining, but despite that, Bitcoin adoption is still promulgated.

We all aspire to live in a just world, but those with higher levels of power also seek greater gains. I wouldn't characterize this as a threat to new users, but rather as a objective consideration of the worst-case scenarios that could unfold.

These high-level power who seek greater gains by demeriting Bitcoin is always even out by the true facts about the nature of Bitcoin.  There are also influential people and high government officials that are pro Bitcoins that can even out the impact of the elite opposition.

I don't think hate speech does any harm to Bitcoin or its users because it helps make those with curious minds want to know why it is bad spoken about, thus they get hooked.
I used to think Bitcoin was a Ponzi-too-good-to-be-true scheme, until I joined this forum and got to ask the right questions, thereby I learnt a great deal and even trade with it.
Simply put, I got hooked.

Hate speech helps advertise Bitcoin from a broader perspective.

Those who hate Bitcoin are people without mind in their heads because someone who has a little knowledge about finance and freedom would accept Bitcoin without any obligation.

Bitcoin is not influenced by people who hate Bitcoin. On the contrary, it causes more people to hear about and research Bitcoin. A person who researches Bitcoin will not hate Bitcoin if they research it correctly.

When we think about the stages that Bitcoin has gone through and the years that have passed, Bitcoin has continued to progress despite all the positive and negative statements made about it. Today, we all believe that the Bitcoin price will rise and Bitcoin will continue its solid progress. You can rest assured that all other rhetoric will be empty rhetoric and Bitcoin will continue to move forward.

Bitcoin really never cares about hate speech at all. It's not unexpected that a few groups of people will always hate Bitcoin, and they might say negative things about it and express their hate speech. We can't prevent them, actually, and because they have the right to speak. Even opposition parties hate speech against the ruling party of all the democratic countries. It doesn't mean the ruling party will stop their activities. So the same is true of Bitcoin hate speech. Bitcoin gained popularity so quickly that hate speech was unable to stop it anyway.

Bitcoin is great and everything; I get it; however, how can it change the world? It's not a panacea; it's not growing on trees, nor is it free, is it? You can't acquire it yourself; mining is extremely expensive and requires great knowledge; thus, the only source is by purchasing. How can it be someone's remedy in a third-world country that barely gets by? By investing? How is he going to invest if someone's barely surviving? Bitcoin is for everyone in theory, but ultimately, it's not available for everyone for a variety of reasons, such as financial, social, and topographical. Just because we're lucky that we can afford to be involved in it doesn't mean that everyone else can either.

Bitcoin is great for an average, knowledgeable person with a computer, internet access, and a job that at least provides him some sort of stability and, with some risk, is opening great opportunities for the distant future.

I know it isn't free but my friend fiat is also not free and it also doesn't grow on trees. The ones who can acquire fiat can also acquire Bitcoin and the ones who can't acquire fiat may not be able to acquire Bitcoin. Nothing in this world is free and I must say that anyone who runs after the things that are free may not get the things that he/she deserves. Bitcoin mining is expensive and I agree with you, and only someone with good financial condition may have a mining setup, but anyone who earns minimum $40 a week can at least invest in Bitcoin by following a DCA strategy.

I personally know many people from third-world countries who have their investment in Bitcoin and that's why anyone who has a little bit of extra money can purchase Bitcoin. Those who're barely surviving may not be able to invest in it but my friend Bitcoin allows international audience to send transactions and maybe in future we see some funding sites that may implement Bitcoin so the financially stable ones may help the needy ones with Bitcoin transactions. Bitcoin isn't only an asset and it is a way of payment as well. As an asset only financially stable ones can invest in it but as a payment gateway it can be used to help so many people who can't be helped with fiat due to regional restrictions.
No one implied that fiat is free either, but you still don't explain how Bitcoin can save someone who's struggling to make ends meet, and investing is out of the question. It isn't that simple, and trust me, investing $40 per week isn't going to save you in the long run. $40/week is approximately $2.000 per year; in the best-case scenario, you'll get $4.000 to $5.000 in return, and this is very optimistic speculation because that requires a stable Bitcoin purchasing price. Is it a lifesaving amount of money? Certainly not. On top of that, I stated that there are people, even on the forum as we speak, that can barely afford to pay DCA $40 per month, not on a weekly basis. How can someone like that be saved from Bitcoin?

International transactions aren't something ordinary, nor are the fees insignificant in Bitcoin. You can send and receive money with plenty of centralized services with minimal to zero fees.

However everyone has the right to freedom of expression and opinion, although freedom of speech is limited for the promotion of peace because it causes harm and disunity. Hate speech can cause physical harm to its victims when violence is involved and can also cause disunity.

I'm curious what's your definition of freedom.
If free speech is limited promotion of certain things, then it's no longer free speech. What kind of harm does it cause? Why is "disunity" bad? Why would you want to unite with someone you utterly disagree with?
And no, speech cannot cause physical harm, unless you're talking really loud directly to one's ear, hurting their eardrums.
In a society where everyone is free to speak is called freedom of speech, definetly everyone is free to speak But in a situation where the speech stands as a threat or abusive is called hate speech and in a situation where hate speech is involved it can lead to violence and disunity that's why freedom of speech is limited.

Bitcoin is a great system in the economy created by people with the ability to think beyond borders and time. Those who hate bitcoin are unable to make an analogy with the thinking ability of the creator of bitcoin so they appear stupid with their own abilities as intelligent creatures.

I agree with you the ones who aren't good at thinking and who don't understand the digital revolution will not understand the idea of Bitcoin and may name it whatever their limited thinking ability allows them. Those people will also understand Bitcoin but in their old age and then they will regret their own skeptical mindset.

So with their view on it they see bitcoin users as scapegoat, criminals and money laundering...
It's their view, anyone is at liberty to munch at whatever crosses their minds; so to say. It's not what we think that becomes the issue but what action we take towards it (to cause bodily harm) that's. It's the same way those anti-Bitcoinists attack Bitcoin that the pro-Bitcoinists promote it and then condemn anything altcoin. I've read posts here completely condemning altcoins even when it's glaring that there are certain altcoins which have helped push the narrative of this industry.

I know how annoying it's when we get to read dissecting views on stuff we see as treasure. However, in getting annoyed we should also remember that there will always be others on the other side of the divide/our rationale. Yes, I agree that there's bad press but I'm also certain that if the negative inclination of the press on Bitcoin didn't destroy it in its nascent stage, it can't now. We just have to keep a positive mind on Bitcoin and not be bothered about whatever negative thoughts others have of it. Some will agree with our views now while others will come around it with time. Everyone has their time of awareness. That's the way I see it.

Hate speech usually comes from those who either fail to understand something and they feel attacked when facts and knowledge are presented to them or those who are just jumping on the bandwagon of misinformation about something. In this case, hate or dislike for Bitcoin is not new due to various negative (possibly fake) stories and news surrounding it. Additionally, there is are also the negative portrayal of media regarding Bitcoin that ruins the image of it and heavily influence the hate-train surrounding Bitcoin.

Everything in this world that exists isn't bad. Unless someone uses it for bad purposes. And those who hate that will always focus on the bad things. No matter how much good it may do, those people will always bring up the one reason that went wrong. This all happens because of the lack of knowledge. They are so caught up in their own opinion that they won't even try it out or learn about it. What they say is the right thing for them no matter what everyone else says.

Let them say whatever they want to. Those who have the proper knowledge will never follow their words. Try it out on your own, learn about it, and experience it. Only then you can understand it properly. There will always be three kinds of people. One will love it, one will hate it, and one will stay neutral about it. Choose your side wisely.

I don't think hate speech has any effect on bitcoin because there is no government control over bitcoin no attack against bitcoin will succeed. Bitcoin is decentralized and has no influence and the price increases at its own pace without central bank or government control factors such as the inflation rate of the financial system or the surrounding economic development of the country cannot affect the value of bitcoin. Factors that affect the price of bitcoin are the cost of creating bitcoins through mining the demand and supply of bitcoins. The current year could be good for bitcoin as it has become almost the leading asset in the market so far..
But hate speech is simply persuasive to some people especially those who doesn't know that much of this technology. They have nothing to rely but what others are saying so technically, if they'd be hearing hate speech prior to pros of this industry, then they are more likely to be avoidant and to disregard what we would say positive to this industry. But problem is, we cannot really force them tk change their minds if ever they would be having negative impression of this industry unless they see its advantages for themselves. Wr may only share our positive views and it is for them to decide whether they would believe it and be open for ideas of investing as well or not. And also to point out the only factor which affects the price of Bitcoin is demand and that is something affected by many things, and not for expenses concerning mining.

As said by those who have excellent knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin, and those who oppose Bitcoin because they have no knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin. And in my opinion, just ignore it because these problems will always be there and continue to happen until in the end and there will be a time when they realize that what they say is not true, just like we started before knowing Bitcoin well.
And this is also caused by those who experience losses, because they lose money and feel that Bitcoin is cheating them. This is actually because they lack knowledge and only greed drives them, and when they go the wrong way they hate it and it could be they who spread negative news about Bitcoin.

Ignorant is a big disease, if anyone hates Bitcoin it's because they know nothing about it or they are in the governments office, making decisions that only benefits centralization, normal people living around me today have no knowledge about technology, when something like Bitcoin can give you money, they call it a scam or Ponzi, without them trying to figure out what Bitcoin truly is.

My message to such people is to keep hating, since I've knew about Bitcoin there are countless of hate speeches from people, even from popular figures in the world, but the smart ones later started buying Bitcoin and took their hate speech back, like seriously, you can't or shouldn't judge what you don't understand.

Some set of people lacks the courage to change their lives, when they see challenges or failure from anything online, to them, automatically everything online and the internet is a scam, they don't even bother to learn from their own mistakes, sadly there is no way to change their minds, the world will ways be full of such people.
Isnt it fascinating how the powerful fear the unknown? They dont know about Bitcoin because they fear losing control. Whatever disrupts the established quo, particularly Bitcoin, has always threatened central authority.

To those who call it a fraud, I wonder if they've mindfully studied. How quickly they embrace hatred. Ironically, many skeptics buy Bitcoin privately. Its potential is hidden by pride or fear.

The internet was once ridiculed too. Today, can we even imagine a world without it? Many avoid history, staying in their ignorance. How sad that misplaced worries kept them from progress.

The government has all the instruments to say something bad about bitcoin, such as the media and then whatever they say will spread more easily. But in this case I agree, that whatever is said by individuals or groups against bitcoin will not last long. And I think we have repeatedly known it even from the beginning of bitcoin's existence. There are always pros and cons in something, especially this may be something sensitive because it is directly related to one's financial freedom. While it must be recognized that the government wants to always be the holder of freedom from everyone.

So far, I have seen hate speech issued by people who don't like Bitcoin when they get scammed by an investment program. There they said that Bitcoin deceived them and took their money even though after being told, they realized that Bitcoin was innocent and the person who created the investment program was guilty and has now run away.

But some people who hate Bitcoin will continue to hate it and don't want to hear about the goodness or benefits they can get from Bitcoin. It is normal and we cannot force him to learn Bitcoin. They definitely would never want to do that.

They will later see what benefits people who use Bitcoin will receive. And maybe that's when they will open their minds to accept Bitcoin. Maybe they need time to understand Bitcoin their way.

We all aspire to live in a just world, but those with higher levels of power also seek greater gains. I wouldn't characterize this as a threat to new users, but rather as a objective consideration of the worst-case scenarios that could unfold.

Not having no thoughts but not using your mind to think. The truth can be found by someone if they are able to use reason to think well because the position of reason is very high in humans. Even though the mind which functions to think has limitations, the mind is able to find truth and error.
Those who hate Bitcoin by getting involved in criminal cases are mistaken in the actual use of reason or they are wrong in using the way reason works.

Bitcoin is a great system in the economy created by people with the ability to think beyond borders and time. Those who hate bitcoin are unable to make an analogy with the thinking ability of the creator of bitcoin so they appear stupid with their own abilities as intelligent creatures.

Although we are free to say what we want but we should avoid expressing an idea that threatens or insults association (hate speech)

Good and bad opinions occur in every corner of the world and there are always two groups one is to support and the other is opposing it. However, in the case of Bitcoin a small group of people as compared to the world, believe in Bitcoin and want everyone to accept it as a global payment system only. But on the other hand, those who did the wrong things like corruption and those who have no Bitcoin or no knowledge about it say shits about it. As bitcoin is decentralized the record of your every transaction is clear and everyone can be seen so the people who are willing the corrupt have no opportunity to hide a big amount of money if bitcoin is legalized in their country.

And yeah most of the illegal work was done in the fiat currency system so how they are right to say that Bitcoin promotes illegal activities? Corruption, money laundering, funding to terrorists, or any illegal work was done through the fait system in fact it would not be wrong to call it illegal. Bitcoin is a currency that makes you free from the centralized system, through this system certain people hold control over a large population and Satoshi doesn't want this and for that, he introduced this system to make people free and make them the owners of their assets.

If there are people who hate Bitcoin, they are obviously the ones who are ignorant and naive of the good that it can give or bring to anyone who will have Bitcoin, whether it is an individual or a company that receives it. And we can't get rid of people in this industry who really don't understand Bitcoin.

There are other people who will talk badly about Bitcoin because they have an agenda that, with their influence and power, they know will have an impact on the market, and when they succeed in their objective of dropping the value of Bitcoin, they will take advantage of the opportunity that they can buy a large amount of Bitcoin while holding it long-term. This is just my opinion and assessment that I can think of.

The reason for the propagation of hate speech in bitcoin is because the people that's supposed to talk and inform us about bitcoin aren't either talking, not talking loud enough or don't have a platform or support to talk to which leaves a void that will be filled by the people that you really don't want to see talking about something they're passionate about because you know that they're going be a waste of time and their talks and such only breeds toxicity in the community. Another reason why we can't have a civil discussion with people is that we aren't good at arguing when people have a different opinions than us, same for the people on the opposite side of the argument, maybe if we can change that, we might see some changes but that's undoing years worth of principle because not being able to accept other's different opinion starts from childhood.

I have come to understand that it is in the nature of some people to criticise what they don't understand or control. This weakness is what is fueling some unnecessary arguments against Bitcoin. Some supposed experts will stop at nothing to discourage people from using Bitcoin. Similarly, you don't expect governments of the world to give up on their control of the global financial system so easily, they will do everything possible to discourage people from using Bitcoin, that takes away their power and influence.

Upon all these bitcoin is still gaining ground in the ecosystem. Therefore, hate speech cannot do anything to bitcoin again.
Bitcoin will always win and it will surprise you to know that some of those critics of Bitcoin are actually hodlers. There was a time our government banned Bitcoin by directing all the banks to close accounts of those transacting in Bitcoin. It was later revealed that some of the government officials including the minister for justice was an active Bitcoiner Smiley

People who think Bitcoin is a scam view bitcoiners as a victim of a scam, rather than the scammers. And thinking that if someone owns Bitcoin then they must have obtained it through crime is a pretty big stretch. I don't think I ever witnessed such line of thinking in a Bitcoin critic that I encountered.

Let's not look for oppression where there is none.

Hate speech about Bitcoin is already part of the progress since then.

Look at what happened, instead of more people being against Bitcoin, the progress since then has become great and adoption has taken place globally even more.

These hate speeches are even more helpful to Bitcoin since more people are now becoming aware of what Bitcoin is. Even if some will disregard it it's impossible they will not be interested to learn about what Bitcoin in the near future is. However, if that hate speech came from a big personality, it could really shake the market. But instead of taking that as a disadvantage, take that as an advantage to accumulate more coins in return.

Gone are those days when people so much believe on what criticizer says about bitcoin where the world so much believed and trust on influencers world and take every bit of information that comes from them very serious, gone are the days where a government will tell you that this is bad and you will see that as something bad without asking question, gone are the days when we so much believe on what ever our parent and elders see as something which is useful as the best and what ever they says stands.

In this present generation, we live in a world where everyone is allowed to say out their mind and you as an individual you have the right to agree or disagree with what ever that’s said about something, taken this to bitcoin, people can say what ever sort of nonsense or any form of hate speech it’s left for you the listener to take it serious or call it nothing, it’s when people give so much attention to things that don’t matter that we take wrong decision and start panic selling which give bitcoin price a negative impact, if everyone calls what haters says about bitcoin nothing then it will have a zero impact on bitcoin, hate speech don’t do anything to bitcoin, it’s the reaction bitcoinners give to the hate speech that brings up some kind of price decline on the digital asset.

Hate speech including sayings like "Bitcoin is dead" and how many times people have tried to add it to Bitcoin obituaries.

Fortunately since 2009, with about less than 500 times to be attacked with hate speech, Bitcoin is not dead. It survives and even has been becoming stronger and I see other things, a better future for Bitcoin rather than dead.

The bullish case for Bitcoin and there is a discussion about it too.

First, for anybody to hate bitcoin, it Then means that person has been judging bitcoin from afar. Maybe that person has been brainwashed by the censored media that has ran negative propaganda against bitcoin, and  the person see's bitcoin from a myopic sense of view.
Trust me, those person's hating on bitcoin don't even know jack about bitcoin, more like hating on what you don't know.

Sometimes it beats my imagination for someone who hasn't used bitcoin before, start's going about to say bitcoin is a scam.
Anybody that choose to hate bitcoin or cast aspersions on bitcoin is just being petty and that's an effort in futility. Bitcoin is like a moving train, you can't stop it or try to bad mouth it because it's unstoppable. I would advise them to stop hating and get involved with the new innovation.

Who is against bitcoin and still having the guts to come any where near these woods?  Of course we trash talk anyone associated with all the garbage and scam coins, we also pretty much discriminate between bitcoin and other useless garbage out there.

But we'd never say anything bad to people, we just call their garbage what it really is, which is garbage.

Another discrimination I can think of, is trash talking anyone claiming to be Satoshi, that one we can't stand.😉

Not everyone who doesn't believe in Bitcoin is stupid. For the same reason, we all can't like the same things. Even well-known economists have expressed a negative opinion about Bitcoin, and the opposite too, of course. It's not about stupidity, but its concept and idea don't apply to everyone, and everyone is subject to their own opinion, which they can voice. Thus, claiming that someone is ignorant or stupid for not supporting Bitcoin is a little bold statement to make.

However, it's true that the majority of governments aren't too fond of cryptocurrencies in general due to their decentralized nature; it's way easier to hide money and conduct transactions undercover. This enables freedoms that aren't available with the banking system. Cryptocurrencies have been notorious for the darknet markets, which certainly hasn't helped their reputation, but in reality, these transactions are only a minor portion of the true corruption out there, and cryptocurrencies aren't liable for it.

Well, I will still say that those people are stupid because they are missing something that can change the world. The Bitcoin is the only remedy to our current economical problems and when someone understands that thing then that person will try his/her best to invest in it, and adopt it as soon as possible. Those economists that expressed negative opinion about Bitcoin were lacking real knowledge about this amazing invention, they did that because they were having that so-called traditional finance mindset of the television era. This era is totally changed one and only the economists and finance specialists who have digital mindset will understand that how essential Bitcoin is to make things better in the world of finance.

Governments will never accept the concept of Bitcoin even if they show in front of public that they're supporters of it. Internally they will always have negative plans to suppress the growth of Bitcoin. I believe the banking system has much more freedom when it comes to undercover transactions of the governmental money launderers because they all are part of the same system and they can fix the written documents and other necessary transcripts to hide the money laundering that they do. The darknet is something that's run by the criminal minded people and no one should blame Bitcoin because of the criminality of those criminals who sell all illegal things on those markets. I agree that they accept Bitcoin as a way for payment, and if someone blames Bitcoin for that reason then they should first blame internet for it.

I agree with you, those people who hate Bitcoin aren't really aware of its features, and they're really doing the things which may indirectly help Bitcoin to reach to all those people who may adopt it in future after listening to the hatred speech about Bitcoin from those skeptical ones. We Bitcoiners have always kept a positive outlook at the situations and we will always be positive about anything that comes in the way of Bitcoin. Anyone who speaks about Bitcoin is somehow making others know about it and that's what we want.

Until now I have not read or had confrontations of hate in reference to the topic, at least not, in my region, there is a very fine line between the discussion and the topic related to hate, not only with bitcoin, it is an open letter to many topics, and really more complex than bitcoin.

I don't think such a thing exists beyond certain characters wanting to make it look that way, but unlike other complex topics where such a situation does have repercussions, it doesn't happen to a degree of emergency with bitcoin, I believe in any case that this topic is of the far-fetched type.

Some people work to take bitcoin to the north start when some will talk shit and think they are the one doing the religious work. There will always be some people other side of the river and there's nothing you can do about it. I wants to take it positively.

They are doing the publicity without knowing that. Grin I consider hate speech like a bad smell which will clear toxic people from a room. This will alienate some potential investors from bitcoin as well but those toxic people can not make the bitcoin community worse place any more.

Usually people who dont have that enough knowledge on what Bitcoin is are the ones who do really loves on throwing out those kind of negativity towards it.Some are already aware but they do fight and oppose just

because it didnt really fit out into their interest and this is why its not really that new anymore that there would really be that kind of argumentation in regarding about it.There's always those people who do really hate up Bitcoin no matter how good it is but well we do really have that freedom of speech on which we could really be able to say and hear out neither positive or negative but sooner or later those words would really be that changing up on the time that they had realized something. Just bare in mind that if there would really be those people who would really be that negative or opposition then we might be seeing
that almost full adoption and recognition now but we know that it cant really be possible as long that government exist.

We do really know on what government do really prepare which it would really be totally going against with those things which are decentralized. There are
even people who do much prefer on sticking with those traditional things instead.
