Good Day,
Recently I've signed up for the en.bitcoin.it wiki to improve the quality all around. It's come to my attention that wikipedia uses this mobile frontend extension for the customization and automated link refrerencing and user-agent forwarding for mobile device detection.
I'll be forward with you - this benefits me personally from having the main wiki use a mobile front-end deployment extension, however besides me, I think that other users would appreciate the added ease of use from having a mobile-aware bitcoin wiki.
What is the appropriate process or line of channels that I must go through to have this implemented? If it's a matter of 'how will it be deployed', I am willing to make a proof of concept mobile view wiki on my own hosting (honeybadgerofmoney.com) to determine and document the process of enabling the mobile view extension. Like I said, I do have a vested interest in there being a mobile view enabled for the wiki, but if you or others don't feel that we could try this out, then its not the end of my world or anything. If you're reading this sentence, thanks for your time, I appreciate it!

From a technical perspective this would be pretty easy, if everyone wanted it. Probably for bitcoin wiki, it would just use one domain, instead of wikipedia's multi-domain approach.
For those not familiar, on mobile devices Wikipedia looks like
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page instead of the normal
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Another approach to mobile that some people have been trying out, is making the normal vector skin look different for screens with small widths (Like Mobile). Its rather experimental currently, but you can test that approach at
http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Main_Page (If on a phone, you might have to select the desktop view at the bottom, or you'll be redirected to the normal mobile site). Mostly it makes some of the top links go away on small widths.
