swog- lol, not sure if we're on different time zone or what. We will get this done, damn it! Depending on what time today.

I'm guessing the family will be here and I will be shitfaced by 3pm EST while watching my Browns go to an impressive 0-15 on the year. So we will try to figure something out.
That did not happen and so did the Browns not going winless before the season's end either. Cheesy

lol, that was great. Then the Cavs/Warriors game was even better.

And it was!

I always thought Paypal was like the worst way to do a bitcoin transaction since its reversible and paypal usually sides with the alleged victim sort of like ebay does.  Is this still the case or has there been some epiphany with Paypal?
There have always been high risks when receiving paypal funds from someone you don't totally trust because they can do a chargeback. It is still the same as it always has been and easier to get scammed by it. Just look at what happened to amaral1977 when it was posted already on the top of this page that he was a known scammer but he still decided to take the risk and do a trade with him.
That is why I and other charge above 10% for all new trades.

Sent PP 170$, no payment so far.

Lessons learned: Read/ check forum posts, check trust history, deal in public to allow for other people to vouch for/ go against. Member ranking not that important - This user is Hero member.

You should put up the pm logs for that user that did with you to show the attempt at his next scam if it is true.

Then possibly putting up a pre-scam accusation so they don't get anymore btc for their holiday spending spree at the expensive of the forum members here.

It's not a scam attempt, you dumb cunt. It's almost 4 here hence why I want to deal directly and faster and not wait for an escrow to come online. Whatever, I'm done.

Explain this:
jagrapolite5  this person scam me 58$ paypal. Please be careful with this person to trade.

this guy ask me 200 trade

I was thinking sending them first 100 USD but just checked and seen scam reports against this guy

better use escow with this guy

mistonel  please tell all details if this guy scammed you and whats proof?

he sent me 30$ and we made deal for 80$ and hasnt sent me rest of the money. he told me that waiting for exchanger but there is no answer for long time on skype and here. I typed so many times and give scam accusations still there is no answer.

Mistonel says you scammed him of $58.
Explain why you didn't send the bitcoin after he paid you in paypal.
You are being very sketchy as f*ck here buddy!
Show all the logs if you don't want someone to look into your actions being a hero member you should know how to wash yourself clean of any accusations of scam attempts on you.

I'll post logs of whatever you want in 12-13 hours. I'm going to sleep.

Did mistonel show proof? Nope. Anyway, see you in a bit.
Thought you were going to sleep mate! Wink
Anyways here is the proof that you requested to be posted from the accused:

Please respond to this thread please before doing another deal.

You should put up the pm logs for that user that did with you to show the attempt at his next scam if it is true.

They said you are lying about the whole thing and was not scammed at all because you did not post any proof that the transaction actually happened.
You would need to post any pm's and tx that you actually sent anything to this hero member and the paypal addresses that was used.
He is waiting and so are others on this forum with your response.
You have posted scam accusations against some users already stating that they have scammed you so this one is most important due to it being against a hero member and his reputation here is in question now because of your allegations against him.

For the record,  I do apologize if it turns out it's not a scam and we can use escrow or something. I will definitely be interested in the $150 deal at that price if we do it safely.

Wish you luck. Looks like all the trust on their page are from newbie accounts that have not been proven here.
You should feel safe in doing this exchange so don't be forced in sending to anyone here.
Always use escrow. But find a reputable one here. If everybody remember that trusted escrow scammed everybody here too earlier this year. And that was for alot of bitcoin.
Just be have caution when dealing with even hero members here.

Best wishes to you friend!

Thanks. And will definitely be cautious. If I don't find a good rate then we will definitely be on for later when you're ready.
I am ready right now if you like because I see you posting on others threads that are of newbie members That right there is questionable activity to be doing with paypal trades anyways. Embarrassed

Yeah. The way he is replying to you is sketchy as hell.
I think he is going to ride on with this and try scamming others on here who are not to keen on spotting the behavior of how a scammer works.
Best to post something in the Investigations part of the forum in the reputation section I think it is called.
It is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0

I don't think investigations is available to everyone though.

Question....

I sometimes see people on here say warning this member signed in with a different IP or changed email. How do you find this information?
Just go to their profile page by clicking on their name then you see Trust?
Click on that. At the top it will tell you in bright orange " User's has changed their email address recently." or "User has changed their password recently."

They can not tell you if they used a different ip address because they can not reveal this to anyone unless you are the CIA or FBI doing an investigation from what I saw on some other threads before.

Ahh, I see. Thanks. Also whenever you're ready for another trade let me know.
Sure thing!
I think we had a trade going on but I had to cancel and you decided to go with someone else.
I am up for it again but it will need to be tonight.
Just pm me how much I can get at the discussed rate we had before.

Thanks. He doesn't seem too interested in escrow as of now, just wants to break it up into smaller transactions, but he may just be busy so hasn't replied back yet again. We'll see.
That is a clear sign that he is trying something strange with this trade.
Not accepting escrow off the bat is a major red flag.
You should avoid this trade if you don't want to get scammed out of your money mate. Smiley

Thanks. Skipping over that one, lol

Christmas this weekend. Scammers are dead-desperate for cash. They will say and do just about anything to get those coins.

And notice the pattern.. he won't touch any offers of established members here. He wants newbies who are naive and vulnerable and gullible. He wants those he can control and manipulate. Not those long-term members here who have rigorous trading rules.

He just made a good deal, so he claims above. And I just saw a pig fly past my window.

OP I would hold off on this exchange because even if you see a hero member, you don't know who exactly you are trading with. They could be a scammer hiding behind this trusted status.
I wouldn't send anything until you can prove that what these allegations are that are put against this user here.

Possible trade for $150. w jagrapolite5. Waiting on him to decide if we can do escrow.
Do not do a trade with him!
There was a user here that did a trade with that exact same username and got scammed $58 if I can recall correctly.
It was Mistonel that reported it so you have to contact him or look at his proofs to see if it is true or not.

If you are going to troll at least try to read and make some sense. I go first on established members. I went first with quite a few members already. With proof by the way.

"And notice the pattern.. he won't touch any offers of established members here."

That is what you take away from my first line in the ad "No newbs or you send first."

lmao. Troll, troll, troll your boat...

Depending on how much you are looking for I can do this for you as our first trade on here if you like.
But I don't do below 27% for someone with hardly any trades concerning paypal on here. The risk is all mine so I want to be compensated somehow if it goes south.
Hope you understand.
