I get messages everyday in Telegram.
Most of them approached me as investors, group admins or affiliates.

One way to detect them is that they will approach us first. And they always start with 'Hey User'.
Real investors or admins dont simply approach other people until we ask for their help first.
There a lot of unknown groups and people that will add you and pm you in telegram ang you can easily tell if he/she is a scammer because they will convince you to invest your money with them. But mostly people got scammed in bounty campaigns and ICO project, and that is one of the reason why many people started to hate ICO projects.

Recently I also received a lot of messages from scammers in the telegram. When I have a few questions in the telegram group, only a few seconds later, there are a lot of scammers impersonating the admin of the project pm me and want to scam me. It's annoying for them

Yes, I have been scammed 2 months ago when someone made an interview with me to manage their help desk and solve the problems of their customers, and they asked me to download their management client, but I recognize the risk and my antivirus catch the malware.

actually I cannot differentiate between it is scam project or failed project. I felt there was something strange when reading their whitepaper. it is not as like as other projects that the requirements to engage their project is bit difficult rather than that project I participated. the first I think I can participate because it is easy. but the result is nothing, I don't get anything and It was just wasting my time and my energy.

It is very common to receive such messages in telegram. Just ignore them and report spam whenever someone approaches you. It is better to be careful than being scammed. I receive tons of messages from such scammers, never once I replied them.

I haven't been scammed, but that is prinicpaly because I only follow investment opportunities either myself or from a trusted colleague. PM in Telegram is a prime way for people to make contacts and also Private message I have seen on this forum as well. I simply say no to every one of these unknown opportunities as I like to make my own choices.

Thank you for your alert. There are reports that investors and bounty hunters have been scammed by new fake icos. I have been deceived as a bounty hunter many times since i was introduced to cryptocurrency some two years ago. New fake icos collect money and run away. Strict regulations should be in place.

When it was learned about the scam there is necessarily an indication of being more carefully is a top priority that needs to be done. Crypto is an easy place to get a result and also place even easy to deceive people. let alone a telegram that certainly many people are required to join of course is prone.

I've been calling someone claiming to be from the telegram and informed me that she gets the prize. of course, it is already visible that this is a scam frankly.

TRADE WITH NEGATIVE FEES
I've been scammed before of about $600 already and I admit its my mistake for not reading thoroughly the project before engaging to it. It was Thor coin as I can remember where their project is somehow too good to be true, so professional also in terms of their site UI, team and dev which I think many did fall also. So I downloaded their wallet for windows; then a week after since after registering so many airdrop sites I forgot about thor anymore and didnt read about its updates and user reviews so thats why after importing my account in etherdelata when transacting I suddenly lost all my precious tokens or even eth funds already. Thats why afterwards I installed a malwarebytes then detected the thor project as the number one cause for the malware; the one responsible for stealing my funds.

Well, i think that is a common way for scammer to approach their victim.
That's why there are many telegram group admin announce that they never PM you first.
Usually the user who want to ask about something, PM the admin first, and then the admin will reply and continuing the conversation between user and admin.

There are many ways to do fraud, starting from sending via email, telegram and others.  it's a shameful job! Until when will the scam continue and create chaos in the world of cryptocurrency? It only makes a lot of people afraid to join and start to worry. Whereas the crypto community people tried to go through some difficult situations when the red market. I don't understand why people choose to cheat rather than looking for a better job.

It is very funny when people are cheated in this way. I do not understand why people are very gullible and ready to send their money to unknown people who write them personal messages. Administrators of telegram groups (ico projects) never write first. Why people are not smart enough to check the information, setting it in a group where the person is supposedly the administrator.

Its really ashamed and need to accept the fact that there are many gullible people here, and because of them the counts of scammer are also increase. But remember we need to be careful since that you are here in this business industry. Most of the scammer are good in hyping people and this was most often happened in different social media like telegram and etc.

A must have attitude for a certain person. Anyone that approaches randomly without any expected transactions from other people then most of them 100% are scam.
So if you don't like to experience problem then better to ignore it directly but sadly there are still people who got victimized but well experience of loss will always be a good learning too.

I can't really say I was scammed personally because I was involved in a bigger deal but I basically lost money twice in a communal way.

First one, was cryptsy which was one of the early multi coin exchange in crypto world, think of it like today binance or bittrex. I had some money there and when they claimed they were "hacked" they just took our money and left, I can't say I was scammed because they basically took everyone money and didn't really aimed me about it but thats still money lost for me.

Second one was hashflare where I have spent money to get hashing power but in the end they claimed it wasn't profitable anymore and closed shop and I never got my money back from them neither. All of them together I have probably lost about one bitcoin in them but right now not much I can do about any of them.

Way too many scammers in crypto, we can't get enough of them lol. Hackers, scammers and even bounty cheaters who try to steal our work to get paid. I have seen every type of low life crawl out of the woodwork and unfortunately the greed for money has brought way too much of the scum of the earth into this niche and that's why many law-abiding regular folks won't touch this with a barge pole until there are enough regulations and safeguards in place to protect people's money. I feel sad that most of the worst in human nature has come out in crypto and I realize that we are not very civilized as a creation. Someone somewhere has tampered with our DNA and turned us into ugly little critters with no sense of morality or empathy, shame really.

Very few Telegram groups warn their members and give the list of admins.
If there's any new comers or basic questions, these people become the victims.
We should take note of the pinned note as well

I do not understand why people are very gullible and ready to send their money to unknown people who write them personal messages. Administrators of telegram groups (ico projects) never write first. Why people are not smart enough to check the information, setting it in a group where the person is supposedly the administrator.

I guess most of their victims are people who are not familiar with telegram or even with ICOs. Maybe they don't even know what a pinned message is. In addition, it seems clear that they are a little naive as well.

It is very funny when people are cheated in this way. I do not understand why people are very gullible and ready to send their money to unknown people who write them personal messages. Never been scammed before and because I know their modus operandi, especially on ICO telegrams, they slip into your private messages in the guise of admins seeking to trying to help, it's very easy the detect the crooks

Their strategy is very obvious so if you think that they will offer you the way they are doing, just ignore them.

It's funny to see on how they are approaching "new members". That's fishy as if they are really approaching one by one, that's just their strategy on how they can fool new members as if these people don't know that they are scam.

I get messages everyday in Telegram.
Most of them approached me as investors, group admins or affiliates.

One way to detect them is that they will approach us first. And they always start with 'Hey User'.
Real investors or admins dont simply approach other people until we ask for their help first.
