Altcoins which have a massive block reward very early but after a week the block reward falls to virtually nothing, like Particle for example... just pump and dump garbage. Even the ones with a more even block payout, there's so many clones popping up that it's hard to distinguish a reason to pick one over another.

It's all going to come down to promotion and community now.. that's why the doge shit got so popular. Wink

I did press the wrong button on github one time - copied the code into a new branch; perhaps that doesn't count! That monster only lived a few minutes before I found the nuke button.

Proper development is an ongoing never ending process of evolution and innovation. Like spiritual enlightenment, it is not a static end-state.

Most altcoins are, sadly, crap meant to pump and dump. Some are quite innovative but there are hoards of duplicates.
