In physical casinos, I have heard of people getting 'asked' to leave because they are winning too much(I've never been in one to know)-- I always thought this wasn't right, since the business pretty much rips everyone else off, and it's unfair if someone is really that lucky, but whatever, that's just the crap you got to deal with!

So I was wondering... have any of you been banned or 'dismissed' from the more popular online casinos because you were that skillful and/or lucky?

I'm not talking about using the free money they give you and making wild bets (I can understand why a site would ban you for that...)

Never happened to me, but I'm not very lucky at the casino. I've been in some, although not in a very regular way, but on those few time I never saw it happen though.

I don't think you would get banned for winning too much in an online casino if you are not cheating. The nice thing about the bitcoin casinos is the provable fair thing, which means that everything can be checked if needed.

Also, in theory, unlimited amounts of card decks can be used online, which makes counting cards useless. Besides abusing the rules I don't think you will get a ban online.

I think most of the people get banned for doing stupidities in chatter boxes of casinos. As far as I know never heard someone playing normal though winning or loosing significant got banned or kicked out without reason. People use chat boxes to promote or beg tips and get banned but I never went through this situation. This is my observation of few sites what I saw there.

I also don't face this issue on any online casino because my status is not so attractive, I am playing on different online gambling sites but that is not problem for me which can get me banned on any casino, I personally never heard from my friend who got banned because of huge winning.

sports betting sites ban people. Sometimes they limit your bet to less than $5 or sometimes they just send your money back...

Why would they do that ? You can't cheat with betting Huh

if they make a mistake with a line and you take advantage of it they will block you. There are entire sites created at finding lines that bookmakers make mistakes with.

They absolutely don't want these types of players on their sites so they block and/or limit you.

Most bookmakers will explicitly say in their terms ad conditions that they do not allow professional betters or arbitrage betters. This isn't new...

No one gets kicked out of a casino online/offline because they're winning too much. Not the one's I have heard of.Movies is a different scene, that ain't real.Have seen people getting kicked out for begging/abusing/faucet leeching on the online casinos. Its a place for scammers to whine anyway.I was kicked out of FortubeJack chat because I tried to find someone who had scammed me for a few bucks, unfortunately the person was one of the mods in their team ,when I inquired about that person I didn;t get any response but got banned for abusive behavior.

Actually, players do get kicked from physical casinos all the time. There is even a business centered around identifying advantage players and selling it casinos. In a physical setting, it is possible for players to have an advantage over the house if they find a weakness (normally a shitty dealer), this is not technically cheating and is completely legal play.

With online casinos there is no point in banning a player unless they are addicted to gambling, because there is no way for advantage players to operate (unless you coded your payout structure wrong).
I am interested how "shitty dealer" can be a vulnerability? It is not that you need skill to be dealer of BlackJack or something? Am I wrong?

I personally never experienced such treatment from a casino side. But 1. I am rather poor player, definitely not on a whale level. 2. Usually I lose more than I win anyway.

I've been kicked off a couple of fiat/btc casinos-- the only one that I didn't think was fair was (omitting the casino's name) because, according to "their security" team, I had been flagged for having multiple accounts.

I made one account, my fiance had made an account a couple weeks before that-- but I didn't know he had. I wasn't paid my winnings and I was banned, my login no longer working after arguing back and forth with support.

I wish some people wouldn't just blow it off saying it doesn't happen because it certainly does, but oh well I guess . .

I was 'asked' to leave a few times in different physical casinos because I was card counting. Even if it wasn't 'ilegal' I was aked to leave because they caught me counting. But that was in a real casino and they have the rights to kick you or ban you, but online casinos can only kick or ban you if you use cheats or scripts to win. That is basically stealing and they have the rights to ban you. They can not ban you for  winning (well, they can if they like money much).

Lowering the limits of winning bettors is not some kind of an urban myth guys it's a real thing and I have seen players reporting about this stuff on gambling forums. I am not such a high-roller to raise any red flags myself but suffice to say this has been observed a lot on fiat sportsbooks and rarely on Bitcoin sportsbooks. But one's for sure - the accounts of very big winners are being monitored because they present a liability.

A relative of mine was banned in a casino here in our country, not because she was winning a lot, but it was a request made by relatives to have her banned in nearby casino's so she cant spend the money she won from the casino that she won the jackpot of the day, not sure how much but according to my relatives it was big that they were able to buy a decent house, car and set up a pension plan.

Those steps of his relatives  are wise enough and also a good idea for the benefit of all, they made that action to request to the casinos to banned him  because theyre thinking that he would probably  bet all his winning again hoping for another jackpot but as we all know that luck isnt at our side all the times he might lose all that jackpot in a blink of an eye.

It's crazy that things like that happen . If your relative stopped gambling she would never have won. But when you think about it yyour relative should have stopped most people agree so she was very lucky, I hope she no longer gambles since she doesn't need to.

I don't understand why would someone kick out player from casino as long as player don't cheat. I never had problems with online or physical casinos, and I never saw that someone is banned cause he win.
People who play honestly and don't try to manipulate with the game doesn't have problems with casinos, doesn't matter how much they win. As I know people who put higher bets always have good status in casino and special treatment.

I think the main reason why people get banned its due to being overly drunk or by cheating. I don't think casinos will ban you just because you won money.

Right, the casino may ban people who are trying to cheat them, but I don't think they will ban for just winning money. Because all casinos know, if anyone gambles for a longer time then surely they will get back all those money, and no can be lucky every day when they gamble.

But sometimes they bannes you because you already win a lot of money there. With this kind of thing they will get suspicious on you and if they found out the thing why you keep on winning I think they will sure banned you from their casino

Usually people cheats soo owners must act against those players, some are just lucky or found some bug and use it and abusing it will lead into such behavior, but the house should try to be the most transparent and fair to all players, soo if just one person is winning, something is wrong.

It didn't happen to me and I didn't see any similar case in the casinos I went. I have seen a few guys being banned on a BTC dice game, because they were winning too much so they looked suspicious. I don't know if they really did cheat or not, but they all had profits between 250 and 2kBTC. And that's an impressive amount, I'm wondering how did the admins not go bankrupt Smiley

I have been banned on a site cos I won a lot and to withdraw all I get is a email of multiple accounts and I was banned which could be likened to a situation of casino in the real world whether online or offline I have been banned and was equally cheated, who will I call no one of course but that's a long time ago can't even remember the site any longer... My 2 cents...

I think it depends on what game your winning on.

I won a decent amount on slots and they gave me a economy room and buffet
tickets because they wanted me to keep playing cause it was obviously a lucky
slots win. If it was Blackjack or Poker I'm sure I would of received nothing. I think
they only ask you to leave if your to drunk or counting cards / cheating.

I have seen  people in the news being  thrown out or kicked from the Casino because of improper behavior.  Too much drunk that they have lost control over themselves or being bitchy because they have lost everything and still wanted to play. But I haven't seen anyone being banned because of winning too much.  But in online Casino there is limit of winning.  So probably this person meets his daily quota of winning and thus his betting option is temporarily disabled.

Someone said he was banned gambling in the casino because  always win. They also said that she has mystical powers strangely not just one person say that almost everyone knows at that time I was about 8/9 years old Now I'm 25 years old maybe at that online gambling is not popular

in an online casino you always have a lot of limits on how big you can bet and much you can earn as profit so it is automatically not so possible to win too much to get banned.

also it may sound like a conspiracy theory but i doubt if the casino lets you win big and will do anything they can to prevent it even if it means cheating you.

On April 15, 2011, the US Department of Justice shut down Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker for US citizens.

As far as casinos - online or brick and mortar, no, I have never been banned or dismissed for winning too much, lol.

I have never seen anyone banned in real life for winning too much at a casino. In fact, one time I watched as a Russian mafia boss win all the chips at a craps table once at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. He was drunk  AF surrounded by bodyguards playing by himself at a $25 min craps table. No one else was allowed to play at the table. Anyway, I watched as he won all the chips at the table - over $500K worth in a span of about 5 hours or so.

When the the table ran out of chips, they did a chip refill because the drunk Russian mafia boss wanted to keep on playing on the same table. He was so drunk, he couldn't even stand. He sat in one of those chairs for blackjack and had to be held up in his seat by one of his bodyguards. He won ~150k more of the new chips before he finally quit and was taken up to his room by his bodyguards according to the dealers.

If you want to see a documentary series about people getting banned for winning too much or cheating casinos, watch the series, "Breaking Vegas."

HOLY CRAP! That's one lucky dude! Haha! So was the house trying to get him to play, hoping he would lose? Why wasn't anyone else allowed to play? 0.o

I used to play in a electronic roulette casino game, those big platforms when you sit and tap on a screen and see the ball rolling in the center. I swear that I had some sort of pattern figured out, I knew when certain numbers would come up and the times. Of course it was not always 100% sure but I've never encountered a situation like this in my life.

I used to go every other day, bet with $20 and came out with $100. Sometimes I got much more than that. I must have won more than $2000. Sometimes it took more time since the ball bounced back from the actual number/bet I had but it was clear the roulette send the ball in that direction. Anyway to cut the story short, a guy approached once and did some light talk (he was from the casino), something about drinks, whatever, you know, he was just testing me and getting closer.

I had to leave the city for months, when I came back the roulette game was replaced. You draw your own conclusions, haha.

LOL! You had to leave the city? Were you scared or something? Or just felt it was time to move on?

Really, you didn't win that much for them to be hounding you (imo), you could have easily abused it. But you shouldn't be harassed, not really Tongue

I'm not talking about using the free money they give you and making wild bets (I can understand why a site would ban you for that...)

I have never seen such thing happening online, the (old) software driven casino's were always rigged so the luck would always runs out fast enough, and the provably fair casino's that are online now don't look at a individual players really, they see it as a whole and for the long run.

So someone being really lucky at times will only be good advertisement to the site i think.

But some games, it's not just luck, but skill. Like Dice and Blackjack. You can win at those (especially dice), without even trying... But yes, if you're going to actually cheat (use programs, tricks, hacks) to win, that deserves a ban.

Well, that is their rule so we cannot expect that it is 100% fair, while we are just gamblers we should just play for fun because we are just gong to lose our money betting on dice games with huge house edge.

Well, that is true, heh. We don't have to play there, but if it's not disclosed ahead of time... it's not really right.

I don't intend to get greedy though, so I should do just fine.

I'll come back and reply to the others in the morning, thanks for your replies. I am tired now. You all have some interesting stories, very comical, heh.

I have not been banned but there is really no problem if such thing happen. Usually online gambling casinos, reputable ones don't just ban people just because they won big amounts. Anyway if this is the case its very easy to create a new email address and a new account with a VPN and in bitcoin gambling casinos no one asks you any sort of verification so that's not  really a problem if you get kicked or banned from an online bitcoin casino.

I don't go to land casinos so i don't care if people get banned there or not.

But from fiat casino I think people will get kicked or banned. I never saw directly but I have heard plenty of them making this kind of thing and getting dismissed directly from their casino

Forgive me for not properly quoting your replies, I'm on mobile right now.

Naw, it's not just in movies, real people I know have said it's been done (they grew up near the Reservations to know), also there is a reply of someone being asked to leave, so it does happen.

It's like the All-you-can-eat buffets, if people kick you out for eating too much food, they are certainly going to kick you out for making too much money.

It's nice to see different replies here. Like the one where they decrease your limits, or where they ask you to withdrawl and close your account, I can see that happening. I don't think it's right (as a business, there's gamble involved for the owners too), but they are allowed to do it.

I suppose, if one doesn't get greedy (HA!), and doesn't press their luck (such as, use most of their winnings to regamble, and strategically withdrawl), then you'll go under the radar.

Mostly, I'm afraid they'll think I cheated, and I don't even know how, but they'd never believe me.

I think if you clever enough to find  a glitch then you deserve it for the same reason you said, because they pretty much rip people off.
Then they cry about it when you win.
I haven't seen any casinos banning people for finding glitches and reporting them.Infact, casinos reward you for that.I'll give you one for the "cry when you win part" because if by surprise you're lucky enough to hit the jackpot, casino will investigate your account and the rolls to make sure you don't have the exploit. Most of the times, they're successful finding it out.

It never happened to me online but it did occur in real life.
I was visiting a friend in a different town, went to a small casino and have played slot machine. One coin gave me four credits to play with so I did and with my second to last credit I managed to score triple bar. Shocked  Won something around 90$ in change, immediately after that I put some coins(smaller in value) in to three machines nearby...
Second machine hit 3x banana Cheesy another ~25$ started to pop out. First machine was still ringing and now this second one... Than a manager appeared out of nowhere(huge guy) and said that they must be wrongly calibrated Huh Then, asked me politely to leave because of reasons.

Funny, how in a Gambling topic, the first repy is from a YoShit spammer who clearly didn't read OP and writes about signature campaigns
which have nothing to do with the situations supposed to be discussed here.

I haven't experienced to be banned or kicked out of any online casino.  Well I would gladly experience it if the sole reason is that I'm winning too much LOL.  It would make me millionaire for sure.  Winning all bets and taking jackpots and huge prizes!  And when kicked out, vpn is always there.  I can create another account and then play again until kicked out.

If you have started to earn too much you will 100% have your bet limits decreased. I have seen such things happening to winning players in both Bitcoin and fiat online casinos so it's a common occurrence everywhere. You won't be banned for winning too much but it's very likely you will be asked by the staff to withdraw all your stuff and close your account yourself. If there is nothing wrong with your account there is no grounds for banning or dismissing your account but the site will be very happy to get rid of you  Grin
