IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

On March 1, 2014, TAT Investments will transfer control of the AM1,  AM100, and SMG listings at HavelockInvestments.com to the direct control of Havelock Investments.

None of these funds are closing at this time. A new e-mail address for AM1 transfer requests will be provided at the end of this month.

None of the fund terms are changing other than to replace TAT Investments.

All underlying assets that represent these passthrough shares will also be transferred to Havelock. The direct shares will be held at 1J5fvfUrDcZj8rrpVHMgn8u7sXee84QkPd.

This also means that ThickAsThieves will no longer hold a board seat with ASICMINER, and a representative from Havelock will instead.

NEOBEE is not changing operators.

G.ASICMINER (Bitfunder)
The offer to convert G.ASICMINER shares is now over. If you still hold any, you will need to wait for Bitfunder to convert them to Direct Shares with Friedcat to do anything with them.

AM100 (Havelock)
The offer to convert fractional shares to AM1/Direct Shares is also over. It went well, so we may offer this option in the future again, no promises though.

TAT.ASICMINER (Bitfunder)
As soon as I can sync up with Bitfunder (this week most likely), we will also freeze TAT.ASICMINER. Any holders that haven't already migrated will be required to provide a signed message from their wallet address on file with Bitfunder.com to claim them. I will still accept migration requests for these until then.

AM1 & Direct Shares
Beginning today, all requests to convert AM1/Direct shares to will now be processed in batches, once per week.

This is being done to streamline the process and better manage expectations, since ASICMINER only processes things once per week on their end anyway.

If your request does not make it into a current week's batch, it will be processed in the next batch.

NOTE: Confirmation emails or status updates on export requests will not be provided until a request is completed.

AM1 import/export for Direct Shares details will be updated to state that all requests will be batched and submitted once per week.

This will be done to streamline the requests and better manage expectations in line with the schedule that Friedcat actually processes batches himself.

According to my experience TAT AM transfers are usually done in 12-48 hours.

He's talking about transferring to direct, which is actually contingent on both TAT and friedcat processing the request. Even if TAT initiates the request within 12-48 hours, one would still need to wait for friedcat to process it, and these days he only seems to be processing transfers once per week. (But typically he clears outstanding xfer requests befor processing divs.)

I'd day, it's best to not push shares on the day of divs or the day prior. (You prolly won't lose them, it just might get muddled.)

How long does a push to direct shares take on average? What happens to dividends in the time between the transfer being initiated and the direct shares being confirmed?

Is this still the accurate and correct way to get shares into havelock?

How to Import Direct Shares:
1. Send an e-mail to [email protected] & TAT Investments at [email protected] with the following message:

”Friedcat, please transfer (X) of my shares to the TAT Investments account at 1rHfXj4AwH9zymwwJuXnbXLiDbAE9V1uz -- [email protected]

Also include the following info:
- Your current ASICMINER share-holding wallet address & e-mail address
- The quantity of shares you wish to transfer

2. If the e-mail address  you have on file with ASICMINER is different than the one you use for your Havelock account, you MUST send an e-mail from the e-mail address you have registered with Havelock confirming this import request. If this is the case, please provided a dated, signed message from the host wallet to confirm ownership.
3. After confirmation from Friedcat is received, the AM1 shares will be added to your account within 48 hours or less.

Yes, this is the method for importing Direct Shares.

While I would love to continue accepting transfers from BitFunder's G.ASICMINER into our AM1 security on Havelock, I need to notify everyone that I need to pause all imports of G.ASICMINER.

When BitFunder (Ukyo) opens up direct exports again, I will open imports from G.ASICMINER as well. I simply have too many shares tied up into G.ASICMINER at this point and I don't want to overexpose myself or my shareholders to what has become undue risk.

Ukyo says he will open transferring soon, so hopefully this will change sometime in the next week.

I apologize for the inconvenience, anyone who pushes G.ASICMINER shares to me will have them pushed back until this is resolved.

Thank you for your patience, I look forward to assisting you with your G.ASICMINER exports again soon.

WTF is going on with Havelock? The site keeps going down and nobody seems to mind. If it's maintenance then someone should just tell us. Hearing nothing makes me want to pull out all of my BTC and hoard it.

We're as frustrated as you are.. and we're working to find the cause of the issue thats been happening lately.. it is NOT a problem with any of our servers or direct infrastructure, but appears rather to be a networking issue upstream somewhere.

That makes me feel much better, thank you and sorry for "freaking out". I just realized that you guys have a Twitter feed, following it now.

Hardware Franchising

This is a new business model option besides self-mining and hardware sales. We will rent the excessive hashing power to financial and technical capable people, accepting full deposits at the market price, shipping the devices and collecting a certain PPS rate based on the theoretical hashrate. The PPS rate, the dividing of cost coverage, as well as warranty/exit strategy are being discussed in detail and executed as small-scale experiments.

This model is similar to hardware sales in the aspect that we do not have in control on how the users make use of our devices, therefore has more decentralization in spirit. And like with self-mining, it aims at settings in scale, enjoying the reduction of NRE cost and operating cost overall, and reducing potential marketing/advertisement/customer service costs.

Project Timeline

August-September: Deploy/sell all hashpower arriving in July and early August.
September-November: Deploy/sell the hashpower ordered at early July.
November-December: Experimental products of 2nd-gen chips and modular large-scale deployment solutions.

Into AM1, or all of the TATI ASICMINER PTs, towards the total for board seat benefit sharing?

Just a quick update.

The first dividend for AM1 will be this week. The PT is up to a modest 250 shares in a few days  Grin

We've got another 250 or so incoming via direct share imports. I've also successfully converted a few people from other PT whole shares without any issues.

I will sync up with James this week for an update on our fancy export form as well, but any manual exports needed will be facilitated either way.

Have a great week.

Thank you, I have been waiting for this. I will however wait a while before trying to transfer any shares, I don't see how Friedcat can keep up with the huge flood of transfer requests he will get in the next couple of days. With no minimum for transfers there will be a ton of people moving 1-2 shares at a time.

Not necessarily. I was also worried about this for myself, but looking at the shareholder list, there aren't that many people that own less than 5 direct shares. And most of those won't initiate imports.

Since I don't require holders of other PTs to export to Friedcat first, this could actually potentially save him some work in the long run.

NOTE: None of the fractional shares are currently eligible for importing into this new asset (TAT.ASICMINER, nor AM100).
Will they be?

As I have mentioned several times before, this is not something I am looking at doing in the short term. There will likely come a day when this is supported, but if it is, there will be fees.
Several times before where? is there a consolidated thread or PR's that I'm missing? Please direct me as a customer looking for info

Someone asks roughly twice per month in various threads.

There are 3 micro-shares PTs and each has its own thread:
AM100  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/havelock-am100-a-new-micro-share-asicminer-passthrough-199449
TAT.ASICIMER (BitFunder)  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitfunder-tatasicminer-new-micro-share-passthrough-192498
TAT.ASICMINER (BTCT.co)  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc-tc-tatasicminer-new-micro-share-passthrough-192499

It is also mentioned in this thread (the text you quoted).

This is fantastic that 100% dividends will be payed! Is this change due to you being able to get a board seat now, or is it unrelated?

It's not a change to the pre-existing assets, it's a new asset.

This is unrelated to my recent Board appointment, just something that Havelock & I have been trying to make happen and finally sorted out.

Since someone already asked, don't think you can be wise and try to get double dividends by moving shares around.

I will not process transfers mid-dividend across exchanges. On Wednesdays/Thursdays, don't push any shares to me until you have received your dividends.

After much planning and preparation, I'm proud to announce that Havelock & TAT Investments will be providing a new venue for you to trade full shares of ASICMINER.

This asset works much like ASICMINER-PT on BTCT.co, with total support for importing & exporting of direct shares as well as ASICMINER-PT & G.ASICMINER

This passthrough also pays 100% of dividends!

Launch Date/Time to be announced soon! Imports are being accepted immediately!
