I will put up a .05 Btc bounty to whoever proposes a solution that ends up working.

What is wrong with the onboard NIC?

If you haven't tried then fire it up with just one video card and memory and make sure that you can see the BIOS screen, then swap cards. Then add the OS and one card without the PCIe NIC card, then try with two video cards and no PCIe NIC card.

It still doesn'twork wwith the GPU plugged straight into the motherboard. In either x16 slot.

There is the link to the MOBO, I can get it to detect the first Sapphire R9 280X GPU, but cannot for the life of me get it to detect the 2nd card.  The card has power going to it as the fans turn on and I even have it plugged into a monitor just in case.

Currently have only used it with a riser (tried a 1x to 16x riser in the 1x slot as well as a 16x to 16x riser in the 2nd PCI 16x slot) and getting nothing with either method.  I am going out tonight to buy a new wireless NIC card to replace the one that occupies the PCIe slot so that I can put it directly onto the board and try that, but otherwise I am not sure what else to do?

I would appreciate any suggestions from someone who has the same MOBO or someone who has any ideas.  I thought I might have to go into the BIOS and change a setting but I cannot find anything to change that would relate to detecting multiple cards.  Any help or advice or things to try is welcomed and thanks for your help Smiley
