*snip*

Honestly, i never make another wallet than blockchain.info and xapo. All my wallets is on online.

I have heard that is more secure when we use the online wallet than another one. Maybe i get the wrong info.

What happen if we lose our laptop which all data from the offline wallet is on that device?

Online wallet is too risky, it's easy to hacked, although with blockchain wallet you can get your private key, but there are a lot complaint about their wallet out there.
better to use cold wallet.

If you lose your private key, you lost everything. keep private key to secure device.

Man, this blockchain.info wallet is buggy as hell. Every day we have a thread where someone is complaining about their services, yet people keep using and using them. I don't understand. There are other wallets as well. And you guys shouldn't use online wallets anyways!

Whoever told you that online wallets are more secure lied to you big time.

If you have a wallet on your machine, you will secure it of course so even if you lose your laptop nobody will be able to spend your coins. They will be encrypted and password protected just like your online wallet is. Maybe even 2fa protected. So if someone would steal your laptop, you need about an hour to find new secure laptop, download the same wallet and import your 12 words seed to have your coins again so you can send them to a secure place again.

If online wallet gets hacked your coins are gone and you don't have this possibility.

Hi,
Can anybody help me my problem is when i am trying to secure my account with google authenticator when i scan the qr code with google authenticator it is providing a code when i enter that code to my blockchain wallet the wallet is showing that the code you entered is wrong. I tried 20 to 30 times same error. Please help me out with this.
I experienced the same issue earlier and you don't have to try 20 or 30 times to fix this..All you have to do is open chrome browser and clear history and cookies and then first login into your google account and then use google authenticator to secure your blockchain wallet and it will work for sure..This is a temporary error caused by corrupted cookies..

Hi , you need to sync your google aut. app with google's server. Head over to settings and click 'time correction for codes'

Also make sure you are keying in the code generated for that particular account, people tend to key in the wrong ones when you have a lot of 2fa accs. (me being one of them Tongue)

Have you tried authy? It's also available in the google app. Try that one and see if you receive the same error. Has the same features with the google auth but I prefer authy. Suits my kind of security well.
