I do not see any sense to pay such money for an unnecessary application. All functions are available in a simple browser, and if you are worried about security, the hardware wallet will cost much cheaper.

I think $500 or even $250 is pretty expensive in my opinion. You can fully used that to fund your trading activity and probably get more profit overtime, just saying.
