The new sapphire 5830 on sale at newegg is a great deal (as you can tell from all the posts about people picking up one or five)

I really think that they've redesigned the power delivery circuit (instead of simply stealing the 5870's circuit like reference 5830's) on these new boards, I'm not 100% certain but I think these use less power than the old ones do.

I just got one and it's doing 290 with the monitor attached, 293 without the monitor attached @ 950/300

Doing the same thing on my 2nd rig, after 950 it doesnt become stable for me.

I prefer the XFX over Sapphire though, easier to OC. (although the Sapphires have one fat fan on them)

I have a 5770 doing 219MHs OC'd 990/1505 @53C Temp

Could over-clock further likely with voltage tweaking, especially at such low temp. The wattage is much lower on the 770's than the 5830's (only requires one extra rail instead of two) so you may want to calculate to see which is more profitable before making a blanket assumption.

I'im aware of the power usage compared to higher models, the 5830 does suck juice, but hashrates are more important to me (just personal preference) I dont OC my cards like crazy to get the most out of them, such as 1020/300 for about ~300 so I rather deal with my card that I have experience with than testing new waters.

Just preference...

Exactly the same hash rate as a 5770
They're a die for die rebrand of the 5770.
So, they have the exact same cores, clock speeds, and temperatures.

Highest I've seen reported for a 5770 is 220 Mh/s with a high overclock.
You can probably manage over 200 Mh/s fairly easily.

HD 6770 - Does anyone know the hash rate for these cards?

There's a sale going on locally here, to $114USD but I can't figure out the hash rate.
Any idea?
