This is wrong data up here. My 7850 gives 360 Mh/s on bitcoins and 400 Kh/s on litecoins. I have 3 of them. No 7790 could possibly beat this.

I never understood why people would buy the OC cards. Most of the time (if not always) you can OC the difference yourself, for less money.

Those values are always measured on overclocked cards. Stock speeds will never be that good, you need to OC it one way or another.
Stock cards actually seem to have better hash rates than factory shipped oc cards.

My HIS 7790 does 248Mhash at stock speeds (1000/1500)

In Guiminer I have cpu affinity all unticked, with extra flags: -v -w 128
cpu usage is around 2% for me

Try using cgminer with these settings for your card. If cgminer doesn't let you oc your card then try using msi afterburner.

-I 17 --worksize 128 --thread-concurrency 8000 --gpu-engine 830 --gpu-memclock 1500 -G 1

Here is the github link for almost every gfx cards best possible setup: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison#wiki-ATI_AMD_GPUs

Ok. To setup guiminer correctly enter the adress and username/pw of your desired mining pool. For device select [0-0]Bonaire (that's the GPU). If you have a multicore CPU deselect at least the first core at CPU affinity (for me using just two cores of my six core CPU is just fine). In the Extra Flags field enter "-v -w 256 -f 60".

I'm just mining with 5750s so I am not quite sure if -w 256 is the best you can do or if your card can also handle -w 512. You'll have to try.

I am using now CGminer, but at stock clocks I am not able to get over 200 Mh/s and also many users reported, they have much better speeds using poclbm - guiminer.

Could you open guiminer and click on the device drop down list and tell us what devices are listed?

It sounds like either guiminer isn't detecting your graphics card or you accidentally selected the CPU as a device for mining.

Hello,
I just bought Sapphire HD7790 for bitcoin mining, but having problems to correctly setup it. Many users and overviews reported, that thic card has mining speed around 240 MHash/s using OpenCL Miner (poclbm Guiminer).

http://media.bestofmicro.com/C/7/377575/original/Bitmining.png

But when I use Guiminer, CPU usage is going to 100% and mining speed is 300 KHash/s. (I have selected Bonaire HW and unticked CPU affinity). Using CGminer I am not able to get over 195 Mhash/s using flags.

This card is new on market and only drivers I can use is original 13.5 for 7790 and 13.4. I am running win 7 32bit.

Does anyone have any experiences with this card? Can anyone tell me, how to setup OpenCL miner correctly?

Thanks very much and sorry for my English  Wink
