What type of resolution does this present when using VNC connections? That is the main reason I use the headless dummy plugs, to get away from the almost unusable default of 640x480.

noob. Hdmi to vga adapter is not work 290 290x 390 390x rx series

You can also use hdmi -> dsub adapter and put 100 ohm resistor across pins 1 and 6. Secure it with duct tape and voila.

1- Cut hdmi cable
2- Combine usb and hdmi cables with solder ( green - black - red - white )
3- Suggest to 5v adapter ( phone adapter or 5volt any adapter )
4- Happy ending
