You keep saying the amount involved is "peanuts" but this is generally a way to see whether a service can be further trusted with high amounts. Imagine having more than $500 stuck for refunds. I actively use a number of crypto accepting VPN's and have ran into them several times but thanks for the heads up now.
You're absolutely right re the trust angle. Appreciate the input and hope that these type of posts will allow people to make a decision based on other users findings.

There's even a thread on Bitcointalk regarding the sales of Headvpn on this thread (click here). I also found another thread regarding the sales of the site on another forum called Lowendtalk (click here) through a bit of Googling so you guys don't have to- there's some pretty interesting discussion on the business itself with the Lowendtalk thread. I sure won't touch this personally.
I purposely didn't link to the lowendtalk thread simply because I didn't want to shit on them anymore. My issue with them (and why I commented here) is that they told me 3 - 5 days for a refund, it hasn't happened and the customer service is piss poor. The amount to refund is peanuts but as I said, I just wanted to make people here aware that their service can only be described as poor at best.

I did a quick google to read some reviews and the interesting part is, the prices aren't consistent.

1 month is $7.99 here, $4.19 here and currently $3.19 on their site. Could it be possible that they're lowering the price? 🤔🤔🤔 but then again there's no published dates so it might not be in descending order.

The owner has been trying to sell the business on here and at other forums

Can you also link us these threads?
Google their website name with the text for sale and you'll see a couple of posts on the front page.

Hi. Has nothing to do with your case but since you posted it here in a crypto forum, does their service can be paid on crypto? Have a quick look on their site and I want to try their service especially the annual one. The amount won't hurt me if it turned out to be sh*t.

Generally, what setup you are pointing that didn't meet your criteria? You just didn't like it that's why you asked for refund so maybe I will have a different experience so I want to checked it out and see it myself.

Im currently in test on lots of VPN for accessing game servers from other location that's why I began interest and their pricing is really good.

No worries, I know how to deal on such shitty things on the internet. Thanks.
Go ahead and try them mate but why would you try a service with such questionable work practices?

That's always something you don't want to see become reality when you are a customer of their service. Based on what you say it seems that the owner is very desperate when it comes to selling his business, which is another bad sign.

If something is doing all right, you don't pop up everywhere trying to sell your business. In that case you would patiently wait for an interested party with understanding to show up, but in this case the owner might not even care.

Thanks for the heads up.

Hi, just a heads-up to the people at btctalk. I signed-up to the 3 month service several days ago at https://headvpn.com. Didn't really like the set-up so requested a refund a short time after signing-up (they state refunds granted etc if not happy with the service). The guy I spoke to on live support stated refund would be with me in 3 - 5 days. That was 7 days ago and still nothing received. It was a small amount so no biggie but contacting them very rarely gets a response so perhaps this demonstrates the type of provider that they are. The owner has been trying to sell the business on here and at other forums so make of that what you wish.

As I said, just wanted to make people aware.  Smiley
