Lets share the info, so others wont be fooled!
Im buying lots of HellasCoin, so its gonna raise in price and sell it in 2-3 years when they use it everywhere in Greece and the value has risen by probably  almost 1000%

So, to be clear, your solution to Greece's issues with having an externally controlled currency that doesn't fit the needs of the country is to replace it with an externally controlled currency that they have to buy in with currency they don't actually have anyway, and no-one accepts.

Really does anyone think through these things?

There are just errors on that so-called public account. Has it been pretty much emptied already? It's really too bad that two con artists are messing things up for everyone else. As for the people that are taking part on the GreeceCoin scam of AP/Boxxa you should consider working with integrity and dignity. We are called to love people and use things not use people and love things. I agree, the people of Greece deserve much better. It is certainly, a callous thing to do to attempt to steal from a people that are already enduring a difficult economic situation. I am going to wait for HellasCoin at HellasCoin.org - it's the right thing to do. Happy Easter!

It's all well and good announcing a currency but if you haven't started developing one yet because you need someone to do it for you, I'd say give your dream up. Creation is the easy part but supporting one is an entirely different ball game and this is what matters. Trust me... I know.

Show your longterm plans first, show yourself, show your real name, attend in crypto gatherings or else find another job. This goes for all other devs who want to make a crypto.
I don't agree with the part in bold. No need to disclose personal details and sacrifice privacy to be credible. The internet is not Facebookistan

No real name equals not showing yourself equals not attending in the media equals to no transparency equals to untrustworthy equals to not investing. Bitcoin is an exeption
What I'm saying is that if the issue is a currency for Greece, there is no need to disclose those details to foreigners, neither there is such thing as "investing". Nobody is asking "Forex" traders to join.

Further, if we are to take country coins seriously, credibility must be cryptographic and trustless, not if the dev seems a nice guy. I guess it helps for now, yes, but we must evolve

I understand what the DEV is saying. I am Greek and Hellas is much more suited to be a Greek coin but of course will be nice to see further development. I really like the idea of HELLAS COIN and fully support it.

Dear Ladies and gentlemen,

In our search for a trustworthy developer for HellasCoin we discussed our project with Mr. Billy Markus, Mr. Jackson Palmer and reached out to the developers of Auroracoin and other cryptocurrencies. The developers were very forth coming with suggestions and guidance. It was actually Mr. Jackson Palmer who suggested we create a thread here on Bitcointalk.org and announce our search for a developer.

WANTED: Developer for HellasCoin   Created March 9, 2014
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5609278

Previously, we had contacted the developers of MazaCoin on March 2, 2014. We shared our project with AnonymousPirate and he really liked the idea and the mission of HellasCoin. Upon further discussion the HellasCoin Team, composed of professionals in different fields and internationals and Greeks; decided to decline his offer to be the developer for HellasCoin along with his Lead Developer Boxxa. The reasons for our decision to decline which we did by sending two emails on March 3, 2014 were exactly because of the lack of professionalism, lack of team work ability, and lack of trust which was further justified as our research led us to a ponzi scheme.

Our reasons for declining the developers of Mazacoin have proven to have been right on target. These developers, have gone ahead and taken our project and have called it Greececoin. On the same day we declined them they bought Greececoin.net and registered a Twitter account with our name Hellascoin. They are now using what should be our Twitter account; Hellascoin, with our logo and image from our website www.HellasCoin.org to belittle our project. A lot of the information they have provided the public is false, such as for instance that they had been planning this for a while and supposedly that they had the idea to be the first country coin but Auroracoin launched before them. This is not true. Furthermore, as they stole the ideas provided, they are not doing the project properly so that it would indeed benefit Greece and provide debt relief to the country. They don't care.

These developers do not deserve any trust from the public. Most certainly it is very low of them to attempt to rob the people of Greece most especially given the difficult economic situation the country is suffering. I know. I have family in Greece and I love Greece.

GREECE DESERVES BETTER THAN THE CORRUPT CRYPTO CURRENCY GREECECOIN!!!!!!!

Please tweet and retweet this information and let the warning arrive at every place in Greece.

We thank you for your patience and count on your support in the name of justice.

HELP STOP THE GREECECOIN SCAM CROOKS!

Respectfully,

HellasCoin Team
