I have no idea why anyone would drop $12k in an online casino, unless they thought they could game the system or were rich enough to call it pocket change.

The email states the initial deposit was returned to your account, if that is the case you lost nothing.

Also, please clarify:

Did your girlfriend's account balance come to $100k and was reset to $12k? (Leaving you "out" $88k?)

Or..

Did your girlfriend's account balance come to $88k and was reset to $12k? (Leaving you "out" $66k?)

Online casinos live and die by the terms & conditions, if it is a professional setup then you can guarantee they have covered themselves. You may have skipped over and accepted the terms of service, but they still apply to you.

It does seem very peculiar that whatever whitelabel system they are running shares player data between different providers but this is most likely in the terms too.

no idea where you are, but in the UK we have the ICO (information commissioners office) who deal with all cases relating to breaches of the data protection act, if the ICO accept they have indeed breached the DPA then the company would be liable to half a million uk pound sterling fine, plus audits and red tape which will cause them serious problems, i have no idea on matters out side the UK but would assume there will be regulatory bodies in each country Smiley

should this matter not be resolved in a timely manner, i have no issues with esculating it further with microgaming, net entertainment and all leading gaming industry news portals and magazines (and bitcoin PR Buzz - the news syndication wire service which you have used to promote your site).

Why are you not doing that right now?  Do you expect a company that decides to scam to suddenly have a change of heart?

I'd drop the written apology request though.  Your girlfriend should be old enough to take these things in stride.
