You were using the online version? I worry about ridiculous stuff like this happening but I use the PC wallet, so from what I've heard, I'm ok as long as I back up.

hmmm right now I'm storing my bitcoins at blockchain.info do you think that is safe?

It is pretty safe from the owner pulling a scam, however make sure you back up your wallet - There are many options for doing this on the site.

How hard is litecoins on your cards?

Sorry man not sure what you mean? As far as my crypto holdings I 'had' 505 litecoins. And 3.5 bitcoins so mostly litecoins.

I still believe in the future value of litecoins so I am considering buying in again, but after this I'm feeling deflated . Especially as I could end up buying the same litecoins this POS stole

yeah, ltc-wallet stole my coins to man. ive spoken with several others who have had their coins stolen as well. its a sham all the way around. if you need an online wallet, just sign up for cryptsy and deposit all your litecoins at cryptsy. it makes life much simpler and they are pretty secure against attacks.

Well are we 100% certain that we have been scammed? For all I know this was a one man operation he made some changes to the site and it messed up the site and then he went away and doesn't know about the issue.

Yes I know I'm perhaps being foolishly optimistic!

Thanks for the tip about using another site but apart from a handful of bitcoins I don't have anything else and to be honest if I did I wouldn't store them online after this.

505 litecoins I had, if I have been fucked I at least hope that someone learns from this and exercises more caution then I did

Hi everyone ,

Long time lurker first time poster.

I have been buying a few litecoins every month for the last few months and am one of the unfortunate suckers who used ltc wallet

I read a lot of threads about safely storing my litecoins but wrote it off as too much hassle and thought storing them online would be fine

I was very wrong, hopefully someone will read this and wont make the same mistake I did
